Small wine-making village of the Corbières, very pleasant in the heart of vines and Garrigue. Close to the sea, beaches are 19 km away. Ponds, mountains, Cathar castles, Carcasonne, Canal du Midi. Ideal for families with children, possibility of swimming in the river nearby and picnic areas (very pleasant). Local area: many walking and mountain biking signposted tours, all levels, in various gorgeous landscapes, which will enlighten you. Escapades to Spain, Canigou, Cerdagne, Minervois. 2 terraces house, one of which is on the roof. Possibility of doing barbecues. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Shopkeepers walk by every day, including a baker every morning around 8am. The kitchen is very well equipped (we live here 6 months/year).2 large fridge-freezers are available.

great little town, nice house but NO airconditioning

The house is ok, nice and big enough. The description said there was airconditioning but there was none, so it was very hot in the house and sleeping was difficult. The top floor was too hot to stay or sleep.

Der Aufenthalt in dem Haus war sehr angenehm. Die Vermieter und Frau Dolores vor Ort waren sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wir hatten genug Platz. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Schönes Haus in garnicht so ruhiger Lage

Das Haus ist sehr schön. Es hat viel alten Charme aber alles sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Gerade in der Küche haben wir nichts vermisst. Die Dachterrasse ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes überragend! Wir haben hier fast jede Mahlzeit eingenommen. Das bringt uns zu dem Problem, dass man mit Treppen kein Problem haben darf. Die Küche ist im Erdgeschoss und von da sind es bis ganz nach oben viele Stufen. Man geht ständig auf und ab. Die Lage des Ortes zwischen den Weinbergen ist sehr schön. Er liegt gut zwischen dem Meer und den Katharerburgen. Wer beides will, wandern und baden, ist hier richtig. Man sollte aber nicht unterschätzen, dass viele Wege nur über schmale, gewundene Landstraßen führen. Der Weg dauert deshalb etwas oft länger, als die Entfernung vermuten lässt. Das Haus liegt mitten im Ort. Man hat keinen privaten Parkplatz aber man kann zumindest zum Ausladen halten, der öffentliche Parkplatz ist nur ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Wer aber denkt, dass er in einem Dorf dem Lärm der Touristenstädte wie Leucate, etc. entgeht, täuscht sich! Als Deutscher ist man vielleicht einfach nicht gewohnt, dass sich selbst an Wochentagen die Leute bis in die Nacht auf der Straße laut unterhalten, Türen knallen, usw. Manchmal laute Musik bis spät in die Nacht, oft Hundegebell und überhaupt hat gefühlt jeder einen Hund, deren Überlassenschaft man auch oft auf den Wegen findet. Also Haus sehr schön, Ort leider nicht so ruhig wie erhofft.

Une jolie maison tout confort, très agréable

Une maison de famille très agréable dans laquelle chacun peut avoir son espace et se retrouver pour partager ensemble de bons moments. Ville très agréable avec ses vues incroyables. A faire : dîner à la coopérative vinicole, ambiance sympathique et dégustation de bons vins de castelmaure.

Découverte

Maison familiale bien située pour découvrir la région. Randonnées, activités avec les enfants, châteaux et a proximité de la mer. La terrasse à l'étage est très appréciable. Nous y avons un agréable séjour.

Séjour agréable dans les hautes Corbières

Petit village un peu à l'écart du monde, et des commerces, mais proche du littoral et des sites de l'arrière-pays (45 min). Maison agréable, rénovée,toute en hauteur (3 niveaux) avec deux petites terrasses. A ne pas manquer, les repas à la cave vinicole avec foodtruck!!

très belle location

Nous avons séjourné en famille deux semaines dans ce petit village vraiment typique. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris lorsque nous avons ouvert la porte de cette location ! Nous nous sommes sentis très bien, un peu comme à la maison. maison propre, fonctionnelle et atypique. La terrasse sur le toit tellement agréable le soir !... Nous n'étions pas pressés de partir tellement tout nous a plu, autant cette maison que tout ce qu'il y a à découvrir aux alentours ! Merci également pour les échanges Mme Bernard. Bien cordialement !

Charmantes Haus in schöner Umgebeung

Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Dorf mitten in den Weinbergen des Corbiere. Die Zimmer verteilen sich über drei Stockwerke. Es ist alles sehr schön eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Auf der Dachterrasse fühlt man sich wie Gott in Frankreich. Es gibt zahlreiche attraktive Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Zu den nächsten Stränden braucht man mit dem Auto ca. 45 Minuten. Tipp: Der Wein der örtlichen Weinkooperativen schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Kurzum: Die besten Vorrausetzungen für eine erholsamen Urlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Hier findet man Ruhe zum Entspannen auf der Dachterrasse. Weinberge und Winzer bietet die Region in Fülle. Entliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in Reichweite. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts, vor allem Platz ist reichlich.

Merci !! Nous avons passez un excellent séjour dans votre maison dans un coin de paradis et un superbe village tranquille et éloigné de la ville tout en étant proche de la mer. Grande Maison trés bien décorée avec 2 superbes terrasse avec vue imprenable sur les vignes !! et avec toute les commodités.. internet , TV , adoucisseur d'eau ... A recommander pour passer des vacances en familles avec enfants. Mérite 6 étoiles !! a refaire car après 4 jours toujours pas atterri du paradis ;-)

Schönes, charmantes Ferienhaus im Nirgendwo

Das Haus in Embres-et-Castelmaure liegt in einem kleinen Dorf mitten in den Corbières. Ein idealer Ort, um die Katharerburgen in der Umgebung, die Schluchten mit ihren Flüsschen und viele Weingüter zu besuchen. Mit zwei Terrassen auch geeignet, um einen lauen Sommerabend mit einem Glas Wein zu genießen. Durchaus empfehlenswert!

Une très belle semaine

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette maison idéalement située à 20km de la mer et dans un village au milieu des vignes et des collines des Corbières ( idéales pour des petites randonnées en famille).La maison est spacieuse et bénéficie de tou ce qui est nécessaire, voire + ( on voit que la maison est habitée une partie de l'année).Village charmant et calme.

Vacances au calme

Village calme, maison super agréable, terrasse sur le toit idéale! Proche de la mer, des lieux de visite. De la place pour les enfants, on s'y sent vraiment chez soi : c'est pour cela que nous revenons depuis plusieurs années.
