"We had a lovely stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The barn was very roomy, well equipped with beautiful views out of the patio window. Our granddaughters loved playing in the paddock, a real asset to the property. Its surrounded by beautiful countryside and the nearest village is only a "

"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"Bashford Lodge is a truly fantastic property! The lodge is beautiful throughout - kept to a very high standard with excellent spacious accommodation. The absolute star attraction are the stunning views from the lounge and balcony. The lodge is well positioned as a great base to explore the Quantocks and wider Somerset area. We couldn’t recommend it enough - and thanks again to Gll who was a brilliant host throughout. We cannot wait to return. Thanks again, Gavin & family. "

"Came here for a short stay. The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected. The bungalow was very warm and the heating a little hard to work out how to adjust to get it cooler but with the large patio door it wasn't such a problem. The place does look a little dated with some older styled furntiure but it was all comfy and for the price I have no complaints. ...

"Great outdoor space and Leisure outhouses but issue with gate not working. Swimming pool chemical balance was wrong ( badly stinging eyes ) and water felt cold ( to be fair was dealt with within 48hrs) The one and only tv doesn’t work regardless of instructions. No tv Ariel . Had to stream through a phone via wifi. Cinema room DVD works ok but Netflix not. 4 bedrooms share one shower room. Shower heads need cleaning and one shower bracket to hold it was loose so wouldn’t stay up. One wardrobe...
