"Staff were very friendly and helpful - couldn’t have asked for more. The actual hotel is very clean and well kept. However, it is almost split in half in terms of renovation / comfort - both for the rooms and communal areas. Overall comfortable and nice, but could be better for the price point. The half board buffet was a little disappointing in terms of range / quality, but the restaurant staff were very kind. Would go back, but probably wouldn’t take the half board option next time. "

"Loved my bungalow on the sea with private pool. The large hotel swimming pool was also very beautiful. Easy access to the sea via sturdy ladders. Charming secluded nooks with lounge chairs and tables at different levels. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Water shuttle to multiple restaurants on the property. Enjoyed the delicious sushi and more at the exceptional seafront Sumosan Japanese restaurant, where glass floor panels offered a look into the fish and sea below us. Lovely landscaping. Attentive...

"We had a fantastic stay at Royal Marmin although got off to a rocky start as we were shown to an unmade room and then substituted to a 'holding room' until they could allocate a sea view room the next day. Given it was our honeymoon, which we'd notified of beforehand, this was disappointing. The rest of the stay was great though. Lovely hotel in a great spot."

"While checking us into a room, the hotel person asked us to wait in the hall while he turned on the air conditioning. Within minutes of being welcomed inside, there were huge cockroaches coming out of the bathroom. They offered to switch our rooms (it was 10 pm after along travel day from another island), so we went to dinner. When we returned, everyone at bar/reception knew we were changing rooms. We returned to original room to retrieve our luggage and upon turning the lights on, many more...

"Naiades Boutique Beach Hotel is finished to good taste and a high standard, and we really enjoyed our time here in September 24. We loved the quiet and relaxing setting, and dining and sunbed area set on a private beach front. It's perfect for getting away from everything, and a few km from Plaka and Elounda in either direction. The breakfasts were amazing as were the staff who couldn't do enough for us. "Beautiful property. Staff could not have been or lovely. Great restaurant and bar. It was a short van ride to a small beach club. Area is quiet, but there was dancing at some dinners. There’s an on site spa. My partner and I loved this place!"
