"We stayed for a long weekend at this beautiful 3BD, 2bath home. It is located directly across the street from the gorgeous marina just outside of Boyne City downtown area. The town is within walking distance - lots of restaurants, shops, coffee shops. The marina grounds were a perfect place to walk our dog also. The home is the most well-stocked VRBO I have ever stayed at - including towels, blankets, any kitchen items you might need. It was cold while we were there (October) so did not...

"This house has everything needed for a perfect relaxing vacation. The house is centrally located between all the lakes. We were able to bring our boat and have it with us and the public launch is right across the lake. The house was tastefully decorated and the deck was very relaxing. We made use of the firepit by the lake several nights. Looking forward to returning next year. Will definitely book this house again. I highly recommend the Clam Cottage! "

"My three sons, their wives and children. And I stayed here for a week. Plenty of room. Lots of extra roll away beds and bed linens. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, glasses and dishes. The house was bigger than it looked from the outside. 'Nice little walk to the beach and not even the 3 year old complained. The host was very responsive when I had questions/concerns. Great place for a larger group."

Everything is thoughtfully done (dog stuff- bowls, toys and a tie out/ human stuff- coffee bar, books and hammocks, a great view) it’s a beautiful, comfortable place. All communication with Amanda was easy, timely and helpful (she helped recommend a boat rental, and eased nerves about payment). It was a fantastic experience, and look forward to booking again."

"Spent a week at Loon Lodge for a family vacation. We had a great time kayaking, swimming, and hanging out by the water. The house had everything we needed--plenty of bath and beach towels, lots of floats and a lily pad mat, and fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Our teens liked having their own space in the bunkhouse. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, but close to town for necessities or a meal out. "Wonderful stay in a Torch Lake cabin that was so much more than anticipated. Hidden away off the main road , every room had lake views from big windows, sitting standing or laying down you could see the lake. spacious rooms bigger than expected The porch was THE place to be. Windows galore, with unobstructed views, and great seating or you could be outside on the water deck lounging in chairs. I had planned to visit lots of local lakes , I did very little because I had all I needed right here ....

The house was incredibly clean, well equipped with towels, dishes, really nice Blackstone grill, well maintained kayaks, and most everything we wanted. Owners were also fantastic and genuinely seem to care about not only the property but also us having a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the chain of lakes trip, right from their dock! "

"Nice, clean home on inlet lake that channels to other waterways and lakes. The grandkids enjoyed the sandy beach front. It is on a busy but convenient road.
