The River House near Acadia National Park

Relax and watch the tides come and go on the beautiful Jordan River that flows to the Narrows and separates Mount Desert Island and the main land. This stylish home is a brand new construction with many great features like gorgeous views, walking paths to the waterfront, spacious chef's kitchen, and luxurious master en-suite to name just a few. You’ll see lots of wildlife such as eagles, osprey, great heron, turkey, rabbits and occasionally deer.

Guests have access to the whole house and property except the garage.

We like to let our guests lead with interactions. We are available if you need us but will give you privacy. We may be on the grounds for maintenance as needed and the home owner may access the garage.

The house is on a very quiet, dead end, dirt road. It is rural, wooded and coastal. There are some wonderful neighbors but they are not too close.

Getting around is best done by car. There is plenty of private parking to accommodate the max guest amount, as well as room for a trailer with your boat or kayaks.
~No unattended campfires. Must put fire out before leaving property or going to bed.
~No sleeping on the couch. It is not a bedroom.
