This mid-1800’s cabin has been lovingly renovated (admire the character of the original hand scraped wood walls and ceiling beams) with all the amenities and comforts of home. In the off-season (Sept. 20 - May 20) we provide access to a private waterfront patio located at a separate property diagonally across the street. a 1-minute walk away (the waterfront patio area is not available in the summer). In the summer, beautiful Gills Rock waterfront park and its lake access and amazing lake views is just a lovely 5-minute walk away at Mariners Park. At the park you can sit down by the water and take in one of Door County’s most spectacular views (listen to the waves roll in, enjoy the sunset, or watch the old fishing tugs or the Island Clipper passenger ferry motor by). Or you can launch your kayaks here to explore the beautiful shoreline (this is the same Bay local kayak tours launch from).
