Cozy Tree Song Mountain Creek Cabin

Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!'

Are you in search of an authentic mountain experience? If so, this all-wood Ellijay cabin is for you. This spacious abode is ideal for a memorable getaway amid the stunning North Georgia Mountains!

Located on Briar Creek Road, across a covered bridge, and along a winding river road, this cabin will give you plenty of room to breathe and relax. Blue Ridge is just minutes away and abounds with exciting shops, quality restaurants, seasonal art shows, and theater. With the southern foot of the Appalachians as your backyard, you can try some of the country's best hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, zip-lining, white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, and other fun water activities. You could even try sky-diving, hang-gliding, rock climbing, spelunking, and other high-adventure sports. If you'd prefer a quieter excursion, pick apples or peaches at an orchard, visit historical sites, play golf, or relax at the spa. With this cabin's central location, you'll have tons of nature at your fingertips! Grab your camera for some shots of the mountains or tree-lined landscape. If you're visiting in autumn, try to catch the Georgia Apple Festival, a large celebration with crafts, live music, and - you guessed it - apples. Neighboring Ellijay is also renowned for its stunning fall foliage. Summer is also a great time to visit, and it begs you to get out and explore Georgia's scenery.

When you enter this cabin, you'll notice its lovely woodwork and vaulted ceilings. The living room boasts a smart TV with Netflix streaming and Pandora. You'll also find a selection of games and DVDs, along with free WiFi. Prepare favorite meals in the open kitchen, which includes coffee makers, rice maker, crockpot, and blender. While you can enjoy dinner at a small dining table nearby, you can also venture outside to the front porch, where there is plenty of space for everyone.

Rock in a chair for a while on the covered deck, taking in the beautiful woods and wildflowers, watch the deer graze at dusk as the sun sets, or relax curled up in the rocking recliner with a glass of local wine or a cup of tea and a good book. This property also includes a firepit and comfortable wooden chairs by the creek right down the road, an ideal setting for enjoying the natural surroundings with someone you love. Once the trees lose their foliage for winter, you can even enjoy mountain views from home. You could spend your whole vacation snuggled up in this cozy cabin!

A double futon in the living area offers additional sleeping space, and a private washer/dryer lets you take care of laundry.

Lack of communication
Me and fiancé booked this cabin for my dad’s 50th birthday. Before we booked the cabin we chatted with a member for Vacasa to let them know my wife has a service dog , they told us it would be fine upon checking in we instantly received a call advising we had to remove the dog or leave because it was seen on the camera , we had to call Vacasa to get the situation resolved however we felt extremely uncomfortable our entire stay as we now felt like we were being watched on the cameras. The pictures are also misleading , the fire pit isn’t at the cabin it about a half a mile a walk. The water had a very bad smell when we ran the shower. Overall it was an okay stay but due to the lack of communication we just felt completely uncomfortable. My fiancé was worried the entire time about her service dog.

We loved this cabin tucked away in the North Georgia mountains. The front porch is perfect for enjoying the outdoors and spending time with family. We will definitely book this rental again. It had everything we needed and is close to town.

Small cabin in the woods.
Small cabin in the woods was a good place to explore. We liked it for its quiet atmosphere. We would say it does need some more ideas of what to do when you’re there for a week. Like better games to play, being able to explore more areas and I would say get a Hot Tub (yes means you would pay more to rent but I would recommend it). Also the bed mattress for both beds need an upgrade. Nice little cabin though.

I knew that rain was expected. The cabin is on a good gravel road that had been recently graded. No Smoking, no pets was what I wanted. The rain was soothing . Everything in the house worked, I used up the propane, but the replacement was there and ready! The absolutely only thing missing was aluminum foil, to use on the grill. I left a small roll. nice stream, Singing frogs, comfortable beds, hot water... much more.

It was a fun and cute little stay.
The beds were moderately comfortable, a bit on the firmer side, but it did not give my joints any trouble. It was clean, although there was a weird smell somewhat in the bathroom. They supplied a nice array of nessities for our stay, and the manager was very polite and helpful.

Checked out early
We checked out 3 days prior to our departure date. The cabin was nice but not as clean. Roach in bathroom, extra blankets had bad odor, patio furniture were dirty and fridge drawer was totally missing. Pull out sofa was leather and had an odor and noisy. The distance to the cabin from the road is at least another 10 min on small gravel road. A car fell over one of the roads (that’s how small the roads are). We had to make sure we were in cabin before night fall. If you want to be really secluded then this is your place.

Didn’t expect there to be no toilet paper there. We checked in and it wasn’t even half a roll. Would have been nice to know you had to supply your own before driving so far in the woods. Nothing for kids to do at cabin

Clean cabin in a very unique community
We stayed a full week (business and pleasure) at cabin Tree Song and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The first week of November was peak leaf season in north Georgia, so its location was perfect! It was clean, well-stocked, and quiet (except when the neighbors arrived for the weekend with three large barking dogs.) The community of nice, but older log cabins is a great mix of full time residents and short-term rentals. We enjoyed the fireplace and bought wood a couple of times at Lowe’s nearby. Thanks to the owner and to the cleaning staff for a relaxing getaway!

The pictures show chairs & fire pit but in reality it’s not near the cabin at all. It’s down the hill and down the road on another piece of property with other cabin’s fire pits. The fire pit area also wasn’t maintained so the grass was as tall as the chair seats or as high as your calves. If you plan on having drinks or s’mores by the fire, you better bring a wagon to carry items & kids or drive you vehicle down. This is also where the creek is, not next to the cabin which the pictures make it seem to be. The cabin was very cute and nicely decorated for mountain theme. No dishwasher, dripping faucet in kitchen. But nice size kitchen to cook & eat in. Upper Porch nice to hang out on, lower porch only access is down side of house/ hill with no real safety rails or steps…

Felt like we were under a microscope.
The owners of this property monitor your every move electronically through cameras and the electronic door knob. They monitor your comings and going’s and control everything including the thermostat settings. It was a wild overreach , intrusive and creepy. They have a sign posted above the thermostat which was set to 80 on our arrival to please not set below 72, we respected that and set it at 73, they repeatedly changed it. One member of our party is battling cancer and is more comfortable when it is cool. I also have a teenage daughter and the cameras and big brother atmosphere made everyone uncomfortable. It was a nice property even though it is very difficult to get to. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

Tree song cabin, Perfect short getaway
The cabin is cute and perfect for our weekend stay. Perfectly fits 4 (We are 6 friends, though we adjusted with available amenities). The road to the cabin was rough, our SUV was suited to that terrain with little skidding while driving on the terrain. Would have been better if we had a AWD. Overall pleasant stay with all greenery around. We would definitely book again.

Not what I expected
Got to the property on the first night around 6:30pm. The electricity was out when we arrived because of a downed tree. Not a big deal, it happens. Made it difficult to get a feel for the place in the beginning. Did notice a smell and lots of air freshener things around that were not masking the odor. I’d find out later what the odor was. The outside of the cabin needs a good pressure Wash. Lots of spiderwebs everywhere. The outside furniture seemed so dingy you didn’t want to sit on it. If you’re looking for the advertised creek you have to walk down the property, across a road and through a small field area. It is very overgrown and not anywhere you would feel comfortable hanging around for more than couple minutes. Property next door is exact opposite. Chairs, fire pit, well manicured right by the lovely creek. Drove into town for a couple hours, came back and electricity was on. Being able to see the cabin well now my initial thoughts was it was over decorated. Stuff is everywhere. Doesn’t make sense to have so many dust collectors in a rental. The fridge, counters, table, and floors seemed to be clean enough. We were tired so took a shower and pretty much went to sleep right away. Next morning left early for a full day of hiking, tubing and shopping. Came back to the cabin after long day and like the day before pretty much showered and went to bed. We did call and state that we weren’t really happy with the cabin and felt it was not as advertised before we went to sleep. Were told someone locally would call us but went to bed anyway thinking it’s fine and we will just not spend a lot of time there. The next morning we were greeted to some surprises! Rodent droppings were all over the kitchen, coffee table, side table, on top of refrigerator on floor in corner of bedroom I just woke in. Immediately started packing up despite having one more night we already paid for. There was no way I was staying another second. Despite all this we still followed the checkout instructions, stripped bed linens, washed all dishes (even though they ALL need to be washed and sanitized once the rodent problem is taken care of) took out trash, etc. During all this it hit me what the smell was, rodents! We called the website to let them know we were not staying the last night and told them why in hopes they could get it taken care of before someone else’s vacation was ruined. Can’t recommend because of our own experience. We picked this place bc of positive reviews

After a couple of bumps in the reservation process all went well. Enjoyed 2 nights at the cabin. Our only real complaint would be that a 10am checkout is awfully early for people on vacation. Would have enjoyed a leisurely breakfast instead of jumping out of bed, showering and packing and running out the door!

Surprise I saw you!
The check in was easy. The road a little difficult but doable in suv. After getting settled I received a phone call; the owner saw us gathering some sticks. Uhm a little freaky......so there is 6 cameras around the property connected by wifi so the owner can watch what's going on. Though I was never told about this. The ac is on wifi too you can turn it down but owner will bump it up to 73 we are used to 70 The front screen handle broke upon opening the door we ended up replacing it. We found a condom in the trash can, no apologies when I notified whoever called me about the wood. The iron does not work, 1 out of 3 flashlights worked. There was no laundry detergent either. We went and bought some. The kitchen sink constantly dripped. No creekside, no firepit and chairs. The picture shown is down the road just like the creek is. No easy access to them either.

The vacasa web description & in cabin description indicated the cabin was on a creek. NO IT IS NOT!a
The cabin was very dusty. Many cob webs in the bedrooms& living room. I got several spider & or bug bites over nite. We were VERY disappointed the cabin was not on the stream, as the web description indicated. The oven was not useable due to previously spilled grease, which caused lots of smoke when turned on. Also thee mattress in the bear bedroom is very lumpy & needs to be replaced. I doubt we will use vacasa again Julie penrodglenn
