High River Hideaway a fantastic mountain getaway.

River Access: Dip your toes (or kayak) in the nearby river or build sandcastles on the river beach.
Lakeside Bliss: Enjoy serene lakeside moments surrounded by fresh mountain air.


The High River Hideaway is equipped with 3 outdoor security cameras protecting the property and its contents:

At the end of the front porch, overlooking the entrance, entrance walkway, driveway and up the road.
On the back, mounted on the ceiling beside the hot tub monitoring the back stairs and two entrances. Only the hot tub control panel is in view of the camera.
Along the side door directed up the driveway towards the road.
There are no cameras inside the house.

You must be at least 24 years old to rent the cabin

Perfect getaway!
We really were blown away by how organized and clean this house was. What a great community of houses, we really thought we were in a serene remote area of Elijay surrounded by nature. We will be back!

AMAZING house and location
Absolutely loved this three bedroom, three bath, brand new house. It has all of the amenities you can think of. Three TVs with a Roku and excellent WiFi. We went kayaking in Carters Lake. We’ll be back in the fall for Apple season. If you come, be sure to bring pillows and soap. Other than that the house has everything you need.all of the instructions for the house are really easy and linked with a QR code.

Family weekend
Our family of 5 stayed for a weekend. The directions provided to get to the house were spot on. The house was very nice. It seemed new. The kitchen had plenty of cups, dishes, etc. The QR codes around the house was a great touch. It allowed me to get more information about exactly what I was looking at without having to read a manual or long email. The only ding would be that there was no email or QR code describing the checkout procedures and expectations.

We absolutely loved the home. It was very clean and cozy with amazing coffee awaiting us when we arrived which gives it another 5 ⭐️. Loved being surrounded by wildlife and seeing so many deer casually walking around. Will definitely come back to this property.
