This cabin is large, spacious, comfortable, and in good condition. There were seven of us, the youngest one 17, and the dining room table and sofa were big enough to accommodate all of us at the same time. Even though it was cold, it was nice to spend quiet time sitting on the enclosed, large back porch in the afternoon.
The short road to the house is a gravel road, which can be a little difficult to drive on if you're not used to it, and the driveway up to the cabin is paved but very steep, if renting a car, get a 4-wheel drive one. There is a lot of parking space in front of the house, including a garage.
We had an issue as soon as we arrived, I contacted the owner, and he took care of it immediately.
Overall, my family and I had a wonderful time at the cabin, including Thanksgiving Day. We enjoyed our stay in this home, going hiking, stopping at the local country stores, wine tasting, visiting Helen, seeing so many deer and cattle while on our drives, and especially, starring at a sky full of stars at night.
