Perfect little cabin for an escape into the mountains. View and hot tub were the highlight and communications with management was good.

Fantastic little getaway place!
This is a gem of a listing on VROB, Chris the owner was great to deal with, very fast in his response to our contact. My husband and I came up for apples and cider donuts from Mississippi and were not disappointed with our stay. The house was well lit, clean and the hot tub was ready to sink into. Great location for couples.

Love this little gem!
We appreciate the owners/cleaners leaving the place lit up so well, since we did arrive after dark. Two ladies taking a “ girls weekend”.Just the right amount of seclusion to escape! Great location, easy to get to. Adorable cabin, great use of space. Pet friendly-even tho we didnt bring one. Great property for taking off on a hike. We had everything we needed here! Would love to stay here again.

The place was cozy, welcoming peaceful and the view was so pretty but we did find dog hairs on the floors, couch and master bed. If housekeeping can be improved then this place will be 10/10. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely come back.

Beautiful, but sometimes mildly scary.
This property was amazing, everything about this Cabin was great. Just... The only thing about it that me and my girlfriend were scared of, was just how dark it gets at night. We've always lived on streets with street-lights and it was a difficult adjustment to go from constant light, to nothing but PITCH BLACK at night. But overall it was an amazing experience.

Cozy, Comfortable Home
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It had a very warm, cozy, and welcoming feel. It was the perfect size for my husband, our 2 small pups, and myself to feel comfortable. The view from the back deck was so beautiful and serene. It was wonderful to be far enough from neighbors to experience complete privacy. The dogs loved exploring the outdoors. We didn't use the hot tub, but we did hear it running and it was already filled with water, so it looked like it was ready to go. Added bonus: The cabin is only 15 minutes away from Downtown Ellijay. We were enjoying our getaway so much that we extended it another day. Chris was responsive to our inquiries. The welcome message was informative and helped us prepare accordingly for our stay. (TIP: If you're arriving after dark, just remember, "Hang right" at the fork after turning onto the road the GPS directs you to.) The requests made for wrapping up our stay were also beyond reasonable. Thank you!

Great getaway
Lovely little cabin on almost 6 acres with a trail heading up the mountain to explore. You are the top cabin on the mountain so you really feel remote. Wood fireplace was fantastic and hot tub really did the trick after a long day of hiking. Would definitely return.

Private peaceful cabin
My husband and I plus or dog had such a relaxing time here. The cabin was the perfect size for just us three. It was nice and clean. It is tucked away at the top of the hill by itself. The property the cabin sits on is beautiful. It was so peaceful and there is a trail to walk on rhe backside of the property which was a plus! This was great to take our dog for morning walks. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning and late afternoons. This was a very relaxing place to stay!

Fantastic Cabin!
Having previously rented numerous properties in Ellijay over the years, in various communities, we found Chris's cabin to be the best of all. The location and the privacy it provides cannot be beat. The decor truly made it feel like coming home at the end of each day as we looked forward to the peacefulness of the back deck. We highly recommend this cabin if you truly want to escape to a serene setting.

We had a great time at the cabin! The address and directions were clear and easily understood and accessible. The property was as described with beautiful views. Chris was easily reached and quickly replied throughout the booking process. I would stay again.

Nice place, but has shortcomings
Very easy to rent, good contact with the host, just a few things, Hot tub is not getting up to temperature and needs to be serviced per the cleaning crew. Why was it not serviced? It was reading 102, however it wasn't much more than a warm bath, it was definitely not 102 and the jets were very weak, very disappointing considering this is something I sought out in my search and paid to have this ammenity. So.. the first night was a bust, It . Left sliding glass door does not shut all the way or lock, so essentially you are sleeping in an unsecured home and anyone could enter the residence at anytime they wanted. My 13 year old son slept on the couch and I was concerned about the door to the area he was sleeping in not being secure, These were the big things to me. Also, a number of simple things that got missed. The ad boast of a fully stocked house and that nothing is needed with the exception of hygiene products. One roll of toilet paper for 3 days, The Kureig maker was talked about in the ad of being fully stocked, there was only one K-cup." No oven mitts" my wife has a sever burn on her wrist( I have updated this review and the burn on her wrist has turned out to be very severe) and her thumb from cooking Thanksgiving dinner trying to get things out of the oven with a dish towel. It was awkward, No broom to sweep up small spills or dog hair which we wanted to do, no Soap pods for the dishwasher yet the ad says it wants you to run a one hour cycle upon your departure. The ad boasts of a fire pit, the fire pit is done and all the chairs were broken rotted and unsuitable. all four. We were brought 2 chairs 4 hours after contacting the host. 5 lightbulbs out or missing in the main area, Lamp in Queen bedroom was flickering and we had to unplug it. The house just needs a little love in a few areas. Bottom line is, this is a great place if your just sleeping here and going tubing or apple picking and not using the amenities, however if your like my family who planned a Thanksgiving getaway then this is not the place for you. Overall our experience was decent.. plenty of books to read throughout the house and comfortable beds with clean linen. I don't usually do less than 5 star reviews, I usually have the thought that if you don't have anything nice to say than don't say it.. however it had alot of shortcomings .. anyway, this was our first time to the mountains and next time we will do a little more research.

Decompression time
Just what was needed. Small but very comfortable. Great place to chill and purposely do nothing...especially on a rather raw and rainy day. Just start a fire, fix a drink, get a good book, put your feet up and relax. The only very very minor complaint is the very rough and steep final road approach.
