Perfect Getaway in a Cozy Cabin w/ Hot Tub in Coosawattee River Resort

Connosha Cottage is a beautiful mountain getaway with two bedrooms - two queen beds - and two bathrooms. Urban amenities such as wineries and orchards are just a few miles away, but this small private cottage offers a hot tub, coffee bar, and gorgeous new kitchen. Fishing, golf, and hiking/mountain biking trails are all within easy reach.

The space
This cute cottage features a fully remodeled and equipped kitchen and a bright living room with a full sofa bed. In addition, the cottage features a stocked coffee and tea bar for those coffee lovers!

It has a screened-in porch to take in the wooded scenery (and deer!) in the back, or take a step right outside to the open patio and sit in the hot tub!

If you want a family and pet-friendly getaway in apple country, this cottage will be perfect for you.

Guest access
Connosha Cottage is located in the fantastic gated Coosawattee River Resort. The resort features amenities such as a recreation center with an olympic-sized indoor heated pool, two outdoor pools, an exercise room, an arcade, tennis, basketball, putt-putt golf, and several areas where you are welcome to fish.

Each card (2) allows four people access to all amenities listed above.

PLEASE NOTE: Coosawattee is a nearly 6,000-acre resort. Most amenities are within a 20-minute drive to the cottage, so please plan accordingly. Additionally, there is a $30 replacement fee if the amenities card is lost during your stay.

Guests have access to the resort, Connosha Cottage, and the amenities. Access to the cottage includes all rooms (except the owner's closet), porches, and a hot tub.

The cabin comes fully furnished and includes a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

- Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven (2), microwave, dishwasher, toaster, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.

- Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1 washcloth per person listed on the guest list, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum, broom and dustpan, mop, cable TV, internet, and griddle grill.

- In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up kit of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), Paper Towels (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2 bags), Dishwasher Detergent (2 loads), Laundry Detergent (2 loads), and Dish Washing Soap. Did we mention coffee?

Other things to note
Like most places in the mountains, getting to the cottage does require following a few small roads and a short dirt road that the cottage is on. However, if you are up for an adventure, this will not be a problem! Make sure you adhere to the posted speed limits and watch for deer – you will see a lot during your stay – and you will have no issues.

Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome with prior approval at an additional flat rate of $60 with a 2-dog maximum.

Great spot in North Georgia
This was our second stay at the property, just delightful. The owner is great to work with, and made all aspects of the visit easy for us. We roamed around Ellijay, Blue Ridge, and the surrounding state parks - so much to see and do. We enjoyed access to the development's activity center (Pickleball!) and just enjoying the quiet natural setting. Would love to return again! Highly recommended!

Cute and quiet cabin
My husband and I enjoyed staying at the cabin for the weekend. It was nicely decorated and the communication with the owners was very good. We spent a day hiking in Fort Mountain State Park and visited the Tumbling Water Trails. The cabin was also close to downtown Ellijay which was nice.

The house is so well decorated and really such a convenient place. We felt comfortable and relaxed our entire stay. We saw about 5 deer the first night and continued to see them during our stay. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Beautiful hideaway
This home was absolutely stunning. Every detail was perfect and nothing had been overlooked so we felt taken care of. Super close to many stores and restaurants as well as outdoor activities for the family. Around every corner was deer and it was just the best. Will definitely stay here again.

Sean & Kim have created a home that feels more like a sanctuary where the warmth of their attention to detail and communication elevated the beautiful experience of my stay. Great stay in Ellijay!
When we drove up to the cabin, we were treated by two young deer; a good sign! We enjoyed a great stay at this two bedroom cabin - two adult couples for three nights. The cabin is well appointed, excellent kitchen, all the comforts. It is in a gated wooded resort area with a rec center including a heated pool. We especially enjoyed the screened-in dining table in the back near the hot tub. We roamed around the area, including Ellijay and the two local state parks, Amicalola Falls and Fort Mountain. Our hosts, the Cullins were responsive and flexible. Just a great getaway overall - highly recommended. We'll be back!

Amazing getaway
The perfect spot to recharge! From the moment you step onto the porch you feel yourself relaxing. Kim and Sean have thought of everything and have more than well-appointed the home to create beauty and comfort; truly a place for downtime. It was peaceful and beautiful, indoors and out. We also enjoy seeing deer daily! They visited early morning and mid to late afternoon, and they are throughout the resort. Thank you Kim and Sean for the hospitality!

Wow!! The home is beautiful and so is the area. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable…coffee bar, snacks, night lights, extra throw blankets, so much more, plus a website and book with information on everything we could possibly need. Fairytale Cottage in Gorgeous Gated Community
My stay at this gem of a cottage was excellent! The location was easy to find and exactly as described. The gated community made me feel safe. The bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen was modern and well-equipped. It was a perfect place to unwind. The cabin is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The back patio was my dog's favorite place to hang out and watch the deer. My favorite was the hot tub! Hosts were very responsive and great at communicating the check-in process and directions through the community. They also provided a fully stocked coffee bar. I would highly recommend this cabin for small families or couples. I will be booking again in the future!

Relaxing Anniversary!
We had such a great time at the Cullen's "Cozy Cabin"! It was a great three-night stay. When we arrived, we had a couple of questions about the property. Our hosts were quick to respond to our requests, and followed up in a timely manner to make sure we had everything we needed. The property looks like it has been recently renovated. Great kitchen area! Relaxing living space by the gas fireplace. We enjoyed watching the many deer walk right by us throughout our stay. The hot tub was perfect, even on a cold night! I cannot say enough nice things about our experience and the wonderful hosts we had. Great experience!!

Just what the doctor ordered!
This day, with my wife was absolutely incredible! We were blown away with how everything that we needed along with very well decorated were provided at this cabin. The owners were in constant communication and asking us if if there was anything that we needed. Additionally, additionally, to make our state more enjoyable. But also to top it, we love that we could sit on the back closed in porch and watch the deer that would come right up to us. It was very relaxing and serene. Stay, and we definitely will be back!

Wonderful place to stay
We had a great time staying at the cabin. Awesome location: very quiet, peaceful, and so many deers around! Our kids were amazed by them and was staying at the deck most of time. The cabin was well-equipped with everything you would possibly need. There were also some snacks provided, and a coffee bar was so nice! Also, thank you for providing doggie’s bed, it was so nice and soft, our dog lived it. Communication with the host was superb! Sean checked if we had everything we needed, and also provided some great recommendations on what to visit nearby. Thank you again, will definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends! Natalie

Great Place for a Retreat
The cabin was amazing with a beautiful view off the back porch. Deer came up every morning and tantalized my dog. It was a very beautiful place to decompress and recharge. The hosts were very communicative and on top of everything. Extremely courteous and helpful. However, if you need TV to relax bring your own device. Roku, Firestick, etc. as the cabin only has two Smartsung TVs that do have live TV but do not have the ability to download apps like DirecTV Stream; so no ESPN or Sports Channels. But, again, overall a wonderful place with great hosts.

Escape to Ellijay
My husband, I, and our 2 year old son stayed at this lovely cabin for a week! It was apparent when you walked in the door, the attention to detail as well as the amazing scents radiating through the whole house. The hosts were prompt to reply to any questions we had and made the check in/check out process easy. We absolutely loved that deer often walked through the backyard as well as the neighboring lots when we drove out. The property is located close enough to the downtown area but yet had the feel of escaping to the mountains. The only thing I would comment is there was really no place to put your clothes for a longer stay. There was a closet in the guest bedroom but we elected to move the towels and put our clothes in linen closet in the master bathroom. The coffee bar was a delight and the hot tub was a nice touch after a day of exploring! This was truly the getaway we needed!

Perfect for a peaceful getaway!
Communications were great before, during and after the stay. The property is well maintained, clean and was perfect for my wife and I for our Anniversary. Beautiful cottage with everything you need!
The outside is rustic and beautifully kept, and the inside is clean and full of extras. There was an entire coffee station, top of the line appliances and high end finishes. It is extremely safe (gated community) and there were even deer outside! If anyone is thinking of staying here, don't hesitate! You will not be disappointed! Five stars!

We stayed for a week with our two small dogs. Location was nice and we had all we needed. We enjoyed watching the deer from the screened in porch and hot tub. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing location, this is it.

We had a few days between work trips for a getaway and this was the perfect spot. The screen porch with the sight and sound of a neighbors waterfall was the perfect spot for relaxation..Elijay was close by with plenty of shopping and eateries.

Nice place
The property is great, deer every day in the back yard. Fireplace was locked out, so dont expect that wven though it advertises a fireplace. The griddle needs work, the knobs are broke. Overall a 9/10 for the place. It is 15 min from the gate so add ti.e to your travel ti.es. very clean and plenty of kitchen items.
