"We have had a wonderful time staying in this gite. It is situated in a quiet village, close to a small town. The gite was clean and well stocked with everything we needed eg hair dyer, towels, even a filter coffee machine. The welcome hamper was excellent, stocked with lots of lovely local produce including a very good bottle of wine. Everything was thought out and comfortable - throws and blankets in case cold (not though we needed them), outdoors tables and chairs with covers...

"My family of 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Concarneau at this property. The location is ideal. We enjoyed walking to the quick ferry to the walled part of the city. It was nice to be so close but to return to the quiet neighborhood that the home is in. The back of the living room opens up (triple doors) to the view of the harbor. La situation est exceptionnelle et permet de profiter facilement de tous les attraits du coin : Loctudy (et y prendre le bateau jusqu’aux Glenans), Lesconil (pour les crêpes de la boulangerie et l’apéro sur le port), Guilvinec pour la visite de la criée et de la cité de la pêche. "A superb, modern house with everything you could want - The veranda provides a fantastic view out to the sea and surrounding area. Effectively, the property is in Trevignon which has fantastic small beaches and some great restaurants, run by friendly and efficient staff - It could do with a shop and even a small boulangerie as whilst the drive into Tregunc for bread was worth it, it was a bit of a chore! "Disappointed. We were not aware that the owners had four large, boisterous dogs one of which was very aggressive. The facilities were basic. We were surprised that we had to light an antiquated boiler each time in order to obtain hot water. There was no WiFi connection. Although the property was described as being in Concarneau, it was some distance from the town. "Die Unterkunft war von innen wie beschrieben und bebildert. Ein großzügiges, helles Haus mit großem Wohn-/Essbereich. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen! Das Haus von außen und der Außenbereich ist leider etwas ernüchternd. Der Zugang zum Haus liegt gefährlich nah an einer gut befahrenen Straße und ist ungepflegt. Die Terrasse nach hinten raus ist ebenso großzügig, aber nicht gemütlich. Das Grundstück und der kleine ungepflegte Garten hinterm Haus ist nicht eingezäunt, so dass der Hund nicht...

"The house was excellently appointed, comfortable and well equipped. The terrace overlooking the garden and river was a bonus. The owner was friendly and charming. "

"Was greeted by the owners who were very informative. House is lovely and spotless. A cost of €15 for each bed is a little excessive, €5 per towel is expensive. We had to buy hand soap and tea towels as these were not supplied (thought the would be)! Garden is massive and we had full use of bicycles, surfboards and garden toys. Great place to stay although the stairs are polished which makes them slippy (one of our party fell down the bottom few on day of departure) . Apart from the few negatives...
