We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay again. The only small suggestion is to provide a few extra blankets. Other than that, everything was fantastic! Thank you for a great stay!
Cabin was cozy and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with all appliances and utensils needed for a convenient stay. It snowed which was a beautiful bonus.
Immaculate log cabin with comfortable beds set back off a quiet road. Easy access to the Village of Banner Elk & delicious Italian food at Sorrento’s and to the fun Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster (get the bundle!) Would definitely come back to stay!
Beautiful and comfortable cabin to share with family and friends. It has everything you need to cook, relax, and create unforgettable moments. Surrounded by stunning landscapes. Highly recommended!
we spent eight nights in the cabin for a cozy retreat. The crackling fireplace, rustic charm, and snow-dusted surroundings create a magical experience. Well-equipped amenities, was the perfect getaway for a tranquil and picturesque winter escape.
Thanks, again for a wonderful time!
Overall the stay was very positive from start to finish. Despite being remote it was relatively easy to find with enough parking for two vehicles. The cabin was spacious for two and easily could have accommodated more. There is one other property within eye and ear shot but other than that it felt secluded and quiet.
We brought our mother in law while we went to the races in Bristol. She read and relaxed on the porch while we were gone. Peaceful is an understatement.
Cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. Loved the fireplace. Water was normal! no sulfur smell. Which is only a big deal if you are not used to it. Linens were clean and beds were comfortable enough for not being at home. I appreciate the care put into providing such great stay. There is not cell service which is clearly communicated. Winter weather would definitely require all wheel/4wheel drive. I highly recommend this cabin and host, 5 stars all around!
We had a great stay at this cabin and loved the location—super close to Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain. The property itself was beautiful, especially with the snow-covered landscape, and perfect for a cozy winter getaway. There’s plenty to do if you plan to spend a day at the cabin, which we really appreciated. AWD or 4WD is an absolute must in winter weather due to the steep drive. The cabin layout was great, but the beds were a bit of a letdown. The two pull-out sofa beds were extremely uncomfortable, basically just springs, so they weren’t usable for us. We ended up doubling up in the regular beds, which were okay (and extremely noisy) but not particularly comfortable either. Thankfully, we’re a family of four and were able to make it work.Overall, the cabin has a lot to offer, but the sleeping arrangements could use some improvement to make it truly perfect.
