The village boasts a small selection of shops, a tea room and a pub with a larger selection in Elgin, Scotland’s smallest city, which is just 7 miles away.
Nearby Burghead also has a wonderful sandy beach which is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, as Burghead Bay is an ideal place to watch the large variety of birdlife as well as dolphin and whale watching. The Moray coastline is a paradise for the outdoor enthusiast with watersports, fishing, boat trips, mountain biking and so much more on the doorstep. The area also has numerous golf courses within easy reach, one within the village of Hopeman itself, approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the property.
