"The house was clean (except for the furniture on the screened in patio that was in need of cleaning) and nicely updated but the first night smelled of smoke all night due to neighbor having a bonfire that infiltrated all rooms in the house, particularly the basement rooms, even with all windows being closed. "We were in town visiting family and wanted to bring our dog. This property was dog friendly (even left treats for him), very clean and the location was great (right off a main road about 1 minute from the main highway). One of the main bike paths is even located right across the street. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"We all enjoyed our stay! We came to Davenport for a girl's trip weekend and had a blast. The house was older, but everything was in working order and as pictured on the site. We all loved that we were able to walk to all the restaurants and bars in the area!waworking orderon the site."

A living room to enjoy with the whole family

"Our plans were to check in and just enjoy the view from the home. The view was outstanding, even with all the leaves off the trees.. the sunsets were magical and the sunrises breath-taking. The row of windows facing the river allows all to enjoy the views even when it's a bit chilly out. We watched the river flow by and the the eagles fly overhead. But, wait, there is more! Welcome to our stunning home! The exterior radiates charm, surrounded by lush landscaping.

"The property fit our needs as we were busy with family and friends most of the time. The door knob on the inside of the bathroom with the tub fell of the first day. I placed it on the counter in that bathroom. Additionally, the bathtub could use some scrubbing bubbles cleanser to get it cleaned properly. It works good on mine anyway. It would have been handy to have a spatula too. Otherwise we were happy with the accommodations. And we loved the easy access of the keyless system. Thanks"

"Lovely & safe neighborhood, very nice home with big bedrooms & comfy furniture. Only issue was that the jets in the tub didn't work and unfortunately the owner wasn't able to come out to look at during our quick stay (first world problem for sure!). Would happily recommend & stay again."

"We loved our stay at the carriage house! Chris was a very attentive and flexible host. We are going to stay here anytime we are visiting Davenport. The house was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The cost is very reasonable and the privacy was perfect for us! We definitely recommend this charming house! "
