"Overall this is a beautiful house and garden in a fabulous location close to a natural park (great for bird watching) and La Barrosa beach...both within walking or safe cycling distance. Loads of great cafes and restaurants. Some amenities in the house need attention eg new toaster required, unable to use jacuzzi bath, BbQs need attention. However issues were addressed promptly when we raised these with Paco and Julia and we would all love to come back next year if the property is available."

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Matosa and would highly recommend to anyone interested. Communication with the owner was great, and the house was well thought out. Kitchen was very well equipped and decor throughout is nice. We know the area very well so we knew where to go etc but for anyone that has not stayed you will need a car. "The location of this property was tranquil and private and we could not have asked for a better setting. There was a cold wind blowing daily which made using the pool and sitting in the lovely grounds impossible. Not expected for the month of May. The oven had only one shelf so not really functional.
