"Really amazing location and near beautiful beaches. The villa is well equipped with a great pool and amazing views. Air conditioning is paid for and is just in the lounge area (bedrooms have fans). Also there are 2 bathrooms but no ensuite."

Es liegt ziemlich weit außerhalb, aber das wussten wir ja vorher. Dafür ist man aber ungestört und die Einsamkeit dort in den Bergen hat uns gut gefallen. "Beautiful cottage, small but ideal for two. Lovely gardens. A bit of traffic noise because it's right above a bend on the main road to Frigiliana and, as others have mentioned, dogs barking through the night are off putting, but probably out with the owners control. Some information on the surrounding area, amenities etc. would be helpful.. The electric blanket, bathroom heater, air con heating and of course a great wood burning stove made this an excellent, cosy winter stay"

"In general we believe this property is good value for money. It is very well located between the coast, the mountains and Granada. It offers an easy possibility to discover the Granada provence. "What a great holiday! Superb Villa, beautiful Villa with beautiful valley and Mountain View’s. Great pool, and with a table tennis table and pool table there’s plenty to do. Outside seating and bbq area excellent. Nerja is a short drive away and stunning. Hosts were very responsive whenever needed, would recommend to anyone and everyone! "

"Lovely, spacious and well appointed property. The gardens are very well kept and all our needs were catered for. The children loved the space, pool and play area. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding was fresh, clean and tidy. It is secure and safe environment and we will use it again. "Het is een prima huis in een schitterende omgeving. Hier kom je echt helemaal tot rust. Het zwembad(je) geeft heerlijke verkoeling op warme dagen. "Lovely house. Nothing worked. Owner never checked appliances worked before we arrived. We were made to pay for new appliances, beds held together with cable ties and a live chandelier which my husband got a shock off. Not suitable for very young or elderly as steep steps have no hand rails."

We chose not to hire a car which was absolutely fine we simply walked down the mountain to the fruit shop which has a bus stop outside, although we only ever saw one bus pass there, and got a taxi from there into Almunecar and a taxi back up to the property.
