TRANQUIL GET AWAY between Taos & Ski Valley

Our Blue Adobe is a gracious, well-equipped 3 bedroom adobe home in a great location, between the town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley. This is the perfect 'home base' for your Taos vacation or get-away with family or friends, or even a romantic retreat. Enjoy the luxurious new hot-tub while you view the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains. You will have all the comforts of home with a view, in one of best neighborhoods in the Taos area, and only minutes from town or the ski slopes.

Whatever the weather, park your vehicle in the attached garage and walk into the spacious master bedroom suite with a kiva fireplace, whirlpool bath, and separate back porch. Relax on the king size bed or leather couch, or set your laptop on the desk and connect to the internet with high speed wi-fi powered by fiber optic cable. The master's double vanity is separated by a door to the stall shower, toilet, and jetted tub.

If someone in your group craves the comfort of a TempurPedic bed, our room at the end of the hall will supply king-size satisfaction. In fact all three bedrooms have king size beds, large closets, comfortable furnishings, and each has a smart TV. The large sunken living room has an exceptional Ultra HD 4k TV on the wall where you can enjoy Netflix or an assortment of DVDs, or connect this smart TV to your own favorite app. If you need extra sleeping space, the leather couch opens up to a quality queen-size sofa-bed which is actually comfortable! Light a wood fire in the living room's kiva fireplace and relax.

The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you'll need to enjoy cooking at home when you are so inclined. If you feel like having a barbecue on the back patio, you will also have that option. The dining room table easily seats 7, with a great view of the often spectacular sunsets. And there are several very good restaurants nearby when you don't feel like cooking.

There is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, deluxe linens and plush towels, and cozy robes to slip on when you step out to the hot-tub. From our point of view, this is just like home, only a lot better.

The house is cool and breezy in summer; and with radiant heat in the floor, always comfortable when it's cold outside. And just a quick 5 mile drive to town or 13 to Ski Valley. What are you waiting for? Find out if your special dates are still available. We hope to hear from you soon.

Observe posted Hot tub's safety rules and guidelines. Only the front 2 cover clips should be buckled, re-clip when done, leaving the back clips loose
Do not leave open windows unattended. Close garage door & shut windows when not in room to avoid snow, ice, or rain getting inside.
Sofa-bed sheets cannot be fitted in advance, so making these beds is the responsibility of the renter unless arrangements are made in advance.

First time in Taos

My husband and I were celebrating our May 30th anniversary and part of our stay was in Taos. So glad we selected Thom’s property. It provided us ample room, beautiful fireplaces to enjoy in the evening and a hot tub with great views which we enjoyed at the end of our long days. Quiet, peaceful environment.

Great place

We had a very nice stay for our ski vacation. The house was great, with well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, cozy living room, and clean bathrooms. We especially loved the fireplace and hot tub. The night sky is spectacular, so many stars! The location was perfect for us, 20 minutes one way to nice restaurants in Taos, 20 minutes the other way to the ski resort. I highly recommend this place!

Taos Ski Trip

Perfect place to stay for a trip to Taos Ski. The rooms were a great size and lots of space throughout the house to spread out. Hot tub was nice as well.

This house is beautifully crafted and arranged for shared time on vacation, with a kitchen that allowed for home-cooked meals together. It is situated in an excellent location between the ski mountain and town of Taos, both of which are favorites for us.

Short Ski Trip

Fantastic spot!

We loved this house. It fit our family of 4 (two kids age range 4-9), in-laws, and sister-in-law comfortably. The place is very homey in a way that doesn't feel too personal, but is also well done. Nice art and touches with posters from Santa Fe Music Festival and others. We were all commenting that we could live there, which says a lot because we're generally homebodies.

First Ski Trip

Took our boys to Taos for their first ski trip. We all loved our time there. House was perfect, warm and comfy. Esp enjoyed having fires in the fireplace. We will come back

Fabulous Blue Adobe Getaway

The house was more than we expected! The architecture is amazing and the location was perfect for us. There are three patios which are all a little different from each others but all amazing spaces. Many flowers in bloom! We did not want to leave when the time came. Really had an awesome time ❤️

Excellent stay!

The home was full of northern New Mexican style and well appointed. I highly recommend an extended stay here. Two nights was not enough but it was all we could manage.
