Spacious and affordable
This place was huge and well furnished. There were only a few of us during our stay but this property could accommodate 2 families easily. All of the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. I will book this again for our next trip to Taos.

Perfect for our group of family and friends
The house is large, charming, and comfortable. Lots of cozy nooks where folks could split off and have privacy. Panoramic mountain views. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking large meals. We appreciated the art by new mexico painters. Would def stay again.

Good base for exploring Taos
This is a sprawling, comfortable, well-equipped home that works well for groups or families. A little maintenance and cleaning TLC would make it more renter friendly.

Taos/Red River Rally
We are a group of responsible senior motorcyclists who love going to Taos for the Red River Motorcycle Rally. Our stay at El Prada was very enjoyable. The property is well located and is a very “unique” property with a lot of interesting features and history. It has two separate patio areas that were very enjoyable and Fil, the property manager was very accommodating and very personable. We would definitely stay here again.

Our second visit and as lovely as the first
My siblings and I gathered to celebrate my father's birthday. The house easily accommodated the six of us, with room around the dining table for other friends. The living room is huge, and we loved sitting in the two courtyards with their mountain views. Perfect!

New Years Getaway
We spent 5 days over New Years here and loved the house. We had plenty of space to relax, play games, and enjoy quality family time. There were enough rooms/ beds for both our families that totaled 7. We enjoyed having 2 ovens to cook for everyone in. It was helpful using the garage and covered parking during the bad weather. Phil, the property manager, was extremely helpful and friendly for all our needs and questions.

Perfect for Our Group
We stayed at this lovely El Prado home when we traveled to Taos to celebrate a significant birthday of a friend. The home was perfect for us. It is located close to Taos and easy to get into town for sightseeing and shopping. There was plenty of room with 4 good size bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths. The kitchen was well stocked and great for preparing meals and eating in. There is also plenty of parking and you can enjoy beautiful views from every room. I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a rental in the Taos area. Sheila

What a cool place
This is such a unique place to stay. The rooms are interesting and there are plenty of nooks to disappear to or places to get together. For directions, as stated in the check-in notice for VRBO (which we read poorly) follow the written directions and don’t try to Google map it. Tons of parking. The area is great. The sky was clear the night we arrived and you can see more stars than pretty much anywhere. The drive to town is quick and the drive up to Taos to ski is short enough (leave by 8 on weekends, especially powder days). We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Big house
Large house with lots of room to spread out. Very well stocked with clean towels, pillows, blankets, and kitchen items. We had a few questions for the property manager and it usually took him until the next day to respond. Wish the communication would have been a bit better, but overall this we a great property and a we had an enjoyable stay.

Perfect for two families
This house is large and well equipped. The 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids ages 7-11) could easily spread out and everyone had a great time. We cooked a few dinners in the kitchen and the kids spent time playing in the yard, even though it was covered in snow. We didn't roam from the property on foot, but it's in a nice neighborhood and close to everything. Great to just head up the road to skj, and a quick drive into town for dinner. The house had everything we needed and we were saying how lovely it would be in the warmer months with the patio and many screen doors to let the breeze in.

Taos gem!
This home was perfect for our extended family. Beautiful Pueblo style design, multiple wings and many rooms so each couple/family can have quiet and privacy. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, paper products, etc. Kitchen a little tight for a large group but there is a large dining table that can seat 8. Phil the property manager was very caring and helpful. The owner even bought a pack and play as we could not find any place to rent a crib. The house is located 25 min from the ski valley and 10 minutes from Taos plaza so ideal for dining out! We loved the mountain and snow views from all the windows. It was a gorgeous place for a very reasonable price! Highly recommend!

Absolutely Magical Stay!
My family and I visited for a week after Christmas and we had an amazing time! The house is large and very spread out so my husband and I and our 3 kids, ranging from 17 to 24 yo, all had plenty of room and privacy but we spent most of our time when we were there cooking ( the kitchen is well appointed!), playing games and watching movies or sitting in one of the two courtyards and just looking at the beautiful views. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes out of Taos and about 20 minutes from the Ski Valley. We even took a day trip to Sante Fe and it was an easy drive. Our host was wonderful and very responsive when we had questions and also filled us in on the history of the house which made it even more interesting! You will not be disappointed…We are back in Texas now but I am missing those beautiful mountain views and the SNOW! We can’t wait to book another stay.

Memorial Week Stay in Taos
What a fun and unique home in a perfect location. House is well maintained with everything you need for your stay. We had a few questions and they were promptly answered. Multiple outdoor areas to sit and watch the sunrise and sunsets as well. The house is big with many rooms and very interesting history in the home. On our visit, the satellite didn't work for the TVs. Not sure what the issue was as an error message appeared, but it didn't impact the visit as we were enjoying all the activities that the Taos area has to offer. Highly recommend the home to anyone with large families/friends visiting the area. Ample parking for multiple cars and many bedrooms/beds available. The location is perfect to visit the ski mountain, the various small towns closeby and of course Taos. A great visit and we look forward to returning soon to the area.
