Beautiful house
The house had everything we need, plus it was beautiful and very clean. We will for sure staying there again when we visit El Paso. It is also really close to everything, specially Chico's Tacos.
Victor’s little house is quite sweet. Loved the old tile in the bathroom and the brightly painted kitchen. We had a nice stay on a road trip through Texas. Our daughter loved that she could watch her Netflix show, so bonus! All in all, a good experience.
We stayed there for two weeks this past Christmas (2022). House was ok. Met our needs. Location fine. Only thing was that the thermostat would not stay where we put it. It was programmed weird. It would drop down to 70F or below at night. Also change temperatures during day. IT would not stay at temperature we wanted it at. Got cold at night because of this.
The neighbors' dogs were barking well into the night i finally got up at 1130 and asked them to bring them inside bc i had to be up at 630 for an audition that morning and so i needed to be rested for that and the neighbors got super defensive and thought i knew the owner personally and that we were just conspiring against them? Hahaha that was super weird. Communication with the owner takes quite a bit of time because i messaged asking some questions about the location beforehand and it took a couple of days for a response and then when i had the issue with the doggies barking he didn't respond until about 3 in the afternoon the next day. (I messaged around 1030pm the night before when the dogs woke me up with their barking) so that was disappointing but at least we didn't have anything too pressing happen.
Great place to stay. I liked the convenience to Dyer St and the freeway. It was a little cold however because of the cold weather, and the thermostat couldn't be at over 73 degrees.
Victor was helpful throughout our 2 night stay. House was nice and cozy; we were warm and it was fun watching Netflix movies. Sure some doggies were barking in the morning but it didn’t bother us at all. We would definitely stay here again! Victor gave us restaurant recommendations and we checked out the local and famous L&J Cafe. Thank you Victor!

Scary experience
Normally I would have given a 4-star review for this house. However, we had a scary experience that almost forced us to leave because my wife was so scared. The host failed to respond to text, calls, and VRBO messages. Basically, we heard pounding on the living room ceiling. It sounded like someone was in the attic pounding on the ceiling. We figured out that it was related to the air conditioner on the roof.
Our host communicated great up to our arrival. When the sound started he did not respond to any form of communication and we still have not heard from him to this day.
The neighborhood is mostly industrial with no restaurants nearby. It was kind of sketchy and we were a little apprehensive to put it nicely.
I would not recommend this place if you want to feel safe.

Sweet little house. Clean, comfy. Close to airport. A great jumping off place for Big Bend NP. Easy place to return to for a rest before an early flight home. Total satisfaction. Victor deserves his designation as a premier host.
This cute little house was comfortable and Victor was a great host. Loved the house plants and art work and the overall style. We had what we needed, but this house is definitely still a work-in-progress.
Victor has been great. Everything was as told and more. Loved the tank of fresh water great added plus. Had everything we needed, beautiful home, thank you for your hospitality.
This place was very nice! It was clean and well maintained, the backyard was amazing and it’s close to the northeast, which is what we were looking for since we were seeing people on that side of town!! It’s definitely centrally located and it’s easy to access anywhere in El Paso. Some minor concerns we had was that it’s right off dyer, which is not necessarily the best part of El Paso. Also, the host prefers the temperature set at 75, which seems a bit high in triple-digit heat. It was ok during the day with the fans on, most of the time we were out and about, but it did seem to creep up at night. It wasn’t outrageous, but we would have definitely preferred it to be more at the 70 degree range. Lastly, there are lots of dogs in the neighborhood that like to bark at night, which may wake you up. These issues are all very minor and we definitely enjoyed the place and our stay. I don’t feel like these things would prevent us from booking again, as a matter of fact, we didn’t even contact the host during our stay…I feel like the temperature is a personal preference, as well as the location. The host is certainly not responsible for all the dogs in the neighborhood, just want to make people aware of it to help them plan for there trip! All in all we had a great stay and this place was really nice to come back to :-) we definitely appreciate all the personal touches, you can tell that the house is well cared for and the host really does want you to have a great stay!!
We had a great stay at the Hamilton house. It was easy to get in w all of victors notes and keeping in touch with us. I’m glad he had places to recommend for us to see or eat. Nice neighborhood, no more grass in El Paso from back in the late 70s and early 80s, from when I lived in El Paso. Comfy beds a plus!Nice outdoor area in back. Love the retro chic decor, close to freeway. We liked our stay very much. Thank you
This property was very well suited for my multi-day visit to see my young son. The house was clean, and in a good location in town for getting around. Property has everything I needed including space for my son to play, good furniture and bedding, and necessary cooking (ample pots and pans) supplies. Internet and Tv with Netflix was also great for my son. Overall, experience felt homey. Owner was communicative and friendly. Only a few very minor drawbacks. Neighbors dogs will likely wake up in night which isn’t the property owners fault. Hot water heater was mostly lukewarm. A/C was adequate in main room but I didn’t feel it in second room. No tub stopper that I could find. A few quirks but overall a very good value. I hope to go back.
