"Like a very cozy hobbit house from Lord of the Rings. Spectacular garden! This side of the island is in the fog most of the time but it is easy to get to sunny beaches in less than an hour. Only enough hot water for one person to take a shower before it runs out. Overall however a very special place to stay on El Hierro."

"We enjoyed our stay a lot. Gilbertos casa rural is a nice little house with a beautiful terrace. We spent all our meals outside under the blooming bougainvillea. Gilberto is a very friendly host, he gave us fresh fruit and avocados out of his garden and was very helpfull with every question. The kitchen ist small but well eqipped, the living and the bedroom were cozy. If we're going to visit El Hierro again, we will stay there! Gabriela and Jens"

"Der Empfang durch die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und liebevoll fanden wir den mit dem notwendigen für eine kleine Mahlzeit gefüllten Kühlschrank. Hier wurde an alles gedacht. Die Gastgeber waren für Fragen jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist exakt so, wie auf den Bildern gezeigt. Wir hatten Pech mit dem Wetter und es war kalt; der Heizlüfter und der Radiator funktionierten gut, aber das Haus ist für warme Temperaturen gebaut. Auch die Waschmaschine funktionierte tadellos. "Petite maison très propre et très bien équipée. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Située un peu à l’écart du centre ville au calme. Pas très lumineuse car au pied de La falaise de Jimana."

"Pros: Das El Lagar hat eine sehr schöne Lage mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Es ist ruhig gelegen. Obwohl sich 3 Ferienhäuser auf dem Grundstück befinden hat jedes Ferienhaus eine sehr gute Privatsphäre. Der sehr freundliche Gastgeber Juan Carlos ist jederzeit erreichbar und kümmert sich sehr schnell um alle Anliegen rund um die Buchung und den Aufenthalt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!"

Lovely property and superb hosts

"From start to finish the family associated with the property were kind, helpful and all contact with them was efficient and done in a spirit of kindness. The grounds are beautifully kept and the house is in a very peaceful location. They personally met us on arrival, took us to the house, guided us around the property and left us a very generous welcome pack. It has been an absolute pleasure to stay here and the family are the perfect hosts. You are made to feel like a friend, not just a guest. They have our very best wishes. "

"I liked this very clean hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. I would have iked to have had more information about things to do. The information office is only open around lunchtime and was completely closed over the holidays. The walking path I walked on was in poor condition."

Another Great Stay at Apartamentos Verodes.

"We had another nice stay at Apartamentos Verodes. This was our third stay at Apartamentos. It is a very convenient location to see the sights and do the hikes. There are many in this area just a short drive away. The kitchen is well equipped. We had some issues with lighting and range/hob, but we are flexible and resourceful and these issues did not impact us. We especially like and enjoy spending time on the rooftop terrace. It has many seating and eating arrangements. The variety of native plants on the terrace is very beautiful. Thank you to the two Andreas and we do hope to see you again."
