"Casa Clearwater exceeded our expectations. We arrived during a pretty decent storm, one that continued throughout our stay. We were able to snorkel and swim during breaks in the weather. The amount of sea life just around the base of the house was fantastic. The house was equipped with what we needed to stay at the property and enjoy the tranquility of the area. The one negative was the boats taking people back and forth from starfish beach. They didn’t respect the buoys all the time so we had to be careful swimming in the deeper water near the path of the boats. All in all, it will go down as one of the best places to cast our cares away and just enjoy the moments we were in. Our whole family loved it! "

"This is a great place to stay if you need privacy and tranquility. There’s a pool in the back to use and a small food market close by. It’s nothing fancy but very well kept with a great, comfortable bed, hot water and privacy. "

"This was the perfect ecolodge on the water! Maria, who owns and manages the lodge, always went over and above for our family to arrange day trips/boat rides to town and provided amazing travel guidance. We needed to charge our phones at reception but it was a small price to pay for a beautiful and unique Panama experience with great rooms and gorgeous views. We ate our breakfasts and lunches on site but preferred the restaurants in town for dinner. Our teens loved it and want to go back! Highly recommend! "

"Loved it here! We stayed at Oasis Bluff Beach Resort for 3 nights. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet, and beautiful atmosphere.....this is the place! Right on the beach, lush jungle behind. Often, we had the beach all to ourselves and at most there might have been 10-12 people. It is a popular beach for surfing and it was fun to watch the surfers. Waves seemed too big for swimming, but a nice beach for sitting and walking. It is a mid-range eco resort with a great restaurant and bar. Lots of variety and every meal was excellent. You can have food/drinks delivered on the beach or eat on the deck of the hotel with a view of the beach. It is not very big, so not crowded and very personalized. The owner & staff are super nice and friendly. Always willing to help. They will help you schedule excursions and taxis. There are fun things to do at the hotel.....pool table, ping pong, foosball, bocce, books, board games, etc. I give 5/5 stars for this resort and the location. I give 0 stars for the road to get to the resort. That's the only thing I didn't care for. For about 18 minutes of the ride, it is a narrow, dirt road with major potholes all over. Very bumpy. I can't imagine what it's like when it is raining. The condition of the road is probably why this area is not overly developed. Which is a good thing. It keeps the vibe nice, and not busy. But, I think it would be more comfortable with a paved road. "
