"My husband and I stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment on the first level, pool right outside our patio. Quiet clean place mins from the beach, market and plenty of restaurants. Comes equipped with washer & dryer, cookware & dinnerware. I must say we could have used a coffee pot or tea kettle (the pot they had was no good). Nicely furnished, great air (mainly used @ bedtime). Electric is separate cost at end of stay, we were out most of the stay, so we didn't use much. Weather was great, it did rain at night which cause some flooding (not at the property) which brought a ton of mosquitos so bring some OFF. Daniel was quick to respond, although there wasn't much to contact him about. Oh, the shower drains a bit slow but considering all of the floods in the surrounding area I didn't complain. Overall, for the price I'd definitely stay here again, and I'd bring my family to stay in some of the larger units. Thank you, Daniel!"

"First stayed at this property in 2012 and liked it very much. It was beautifully landscaped and various types of tropical flowers always seemed to be in bloom. The peacocks were a nice touch too. We went back twice before Covid. This stay was our fourth, and best. This time even more plants were flowering. The lawns were lush green and the palm trees and pine trees are probably 70 feet tall now, providing shade when you want it. There is an abundance of pathways to enjoy walks. The paths are lighted and security is present around the campus. Beach chairs and towels are readily available. Pizza, burgers, and snacks are available at the beach, as well as soft drinks, coffee, and a full bar. The beach has been protected by a sea wall and a lovely pier has just been built. No beach erosion at this resort. There is plenty of room to lounge in the sun as well as in the pleasant pine grove just off the beach. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and there are many English speakers among staff. The rooms are cleaned daily, public spaces are constantly cleaned. The three pools are clean and inviting. There is regular entertainment each night at 9:30 PM and preceding that, there is a children's program at the theatre. The buffet is great, with great variety and delicious food. There are options to eat in several specialty restaurants as well. This property is our little piece of heaven."

"The staff in particular (Marlin) was super helpful. Rooms were clean, close to the beach and you could walk to everything. Many food choices in the area as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my room and balcony and will definitely be contacting the Honky Tonk if I come back to the Los Corales area."
