"Can't say enough good things about the property but specifically the owners. They were kind, attentive and friendly. Made us feel special. This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. "We stopped overnight at this wonderful little Hotel before catching the Santander Ferry to Plymouth. The room was uprated free, was big, clean and very comfortable. "The property is an old mansion turned in the hotel. Location is terrible in the middle of nowhere, the restaurant is nice, downstairs sitting area is nice, but… no elevator, it’s dark to get up the wooden stairs and you have to look for switch to continue the climb. The room is small, sparse and stuffy. No screen on the window , so when we had to open the window in order to breathe, we were bitten by mosquitoes. I didn’t sleep at all. No coffee station or kettle in the room. Wasted money"

"Nice quiet place with lovely scenery and very comfortable rooms and large beds. The pool was a decent size, but the hot tub was not warm when we visited. Helpful staff as there are limiited dining options, so be prepared to drive somewhere to eat. Not easy to spot the entrance to the hotel. It is accessible via the double wooden door and an intercom as seen from google street view of the address. Would recommend for couples. "
