"This is primarily a hotel for wind sports, which we don’t do. But it’s right smack on the beach ( swim in the morning before the wind gets up), and has a super good breakfast at its pleasant outdoor bar. Our only problem was the room was quite cold at night— it’s been an unusually cold season so far, but there isn’t any way to get heat in the rooms."

"Staff were wonderful, the hot tub of mineral water was superb, the pool a bit chilly but delightful. Their taco Tuesday is not to be missed. And the beach is gorgeous and clean, with nice lounging furniture. The only odd note is the parts of the property that are in a state of decay— a convention center, another pool and hot tub that are decommissioned."

"Rancho BV is so wonderful! It is one of the oldest properties in Baja! Staff is so kind and helpful — Arturo is MVP! He always had answers to any questions we had, even helped us secure a car to drive around town (his own!). The property is “tired” but very clean and well kept. The “coffee time” restaurant was super cute and delicious (we only had coffee and breakfast, but saw others dining and it looked wonderful, too). The pool and bar is literally right on the beach, so even if the ocean was too chilly to swim you could still enjoy the beach and ocean view from poolside. Location is perfect — very secluded, but only about a 4-5min drive into Los Barriles. Overall, an excellent spot to visit and relax! Thank you Rancho staff for a wonderful trip! 😊 "

"This property is simply beautiful. It is remote, so if party life, crowds and noise is what you’re looking for, this resort is not for you. But if you’re looking to relax in a quiet, beautiful setting and enjoy the ocean, great attentive staff, wonderful food, and a beautiful area on the coast of the Sea of Cortez, you won’t be disappointed. Personable, fun staff go above and beyond to take care of you and make sure you’re comfortable. You’ll feel like family during your stay and will be sad to say goodbye! 5 stars! A big thank you to Ernesto, Miquel, Rosie, Bella, Zayra, and Juan for all your hard work to insure our vacation was wonderful and one we’ll always remember! "

"My son and I are kiteboarders and stayed at Todo Bien while kiting in La Ventana. This was our first time in La Ventana. The hotel and staff were amazing. The view of the water and kiters from the outdoor bar/terrace was extraordinary and did not become old even after a 7-day stay. The food was also outstanding - my favorite were the very fresh tuna tostadas. The staff were extremely pleasant, particularly Hector, Haime, and Fernando. One other major positive is that one can also launch directly from the beach at Todo Bien, and instructors are able to meet you at the beach. I can understand why people we met at the hotel noted that they stay at Todo Bien every time they visit La Ventana. "
