"The location of this property was tranquil and private and we could not have asked for a better setting. There was a cold wind blowing daily which made using the pool and sitting in the lovely grounds impossible. Not expected for the month of May. The oven had only one shelf so not really functional. The upstairs shower was lovely. The downstairs bathroom had a bath which could not be filled by the fitted taps. It was a case of physically holding the shower head over the bath to fill it. This...

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Matosa and would highly recommend to anyone interested. Communication with the owner was great, and the house was well thought out. Kitchen was very well equipped and decor throughout is nice. We know the area very well so we knew where to go etc but for anyone that has not stayed you will need a car. Our only problem was the pool was not heated and the weather was not as warm as it normally is at this time of year so with two small children it was...

"A gracious, generous and very helpful host. The beds are super comfortable and bed linen is good quality. The house could have some renovation and some of the bathrooms are a little dated - but it is very clean and everything works well. The garden and pool is charming and is very secluded and quiet. We would return to the area as it is very charming and a good place to visit Cadiz, Jerez, Seville, Ronda, etc (and close to the beaches). Great value for money. "
