"Great stay in a clean room with a large bed and bathroom perfect for our stay in Tortuguero. The room had air conditioning and a great view right on the water with two rocking chairs on a nice porch area. Within walking distance to the town."

"This is a little gem of a place. The rooms are basic but comfortable, the foods limited but for where you are, this is not surprising. The wildlife & staff really made it. The staff where really accommodating. In a two night stay in the property's gardens we saw, lots of iguana's, tocan's, green macaw's & a howler monkey. On the beach, we saw baby leatherback turtles & on a paid trek, green turtles nesting. "

Found it last minute and was extremely delightful with the spacious private bungalow, fireplace, hammock, outdoor shower and overall creative architectural design nestled in the rainforest and surrounded by farms. The fresh farm to table breakfast was rich in flavor and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The only con would be no cell phone service and limited wifi connectivity. "

"We were upgraded to a bungalow which looked great and was extremely spacious. We felt like we were staying in the middle of the jungle. Pool area was lovely with loads of wildlife. Only downside was that the shower lacked any power."
