"We had a very enjoyable stay at La Joya. Despite the flooding of only a few days before, the property was in an excellent condition and the access roads were fine. Jose and his family were very helpful with the few minor problems that we had and they sorted them immediately. We would definitely look to stay there again if we are coming to the area. "Pasamos un fin de semana donde nos coincidió con el belén viviente y recomiendo visitar el pueblo, estaba súper bonito y puedes ir andando desde la casa, quizás la subida es algo más cansada por la cuesta pero igualmente se hace, en la casa lo único que ecahmos de menos es algo más de calefacción, excepto la chimenea del salón, en el resto de habitaciones se pasa frio en invierno, hay una chimenea en el salón de arriba pero no se podía poner. El lugar nos encantó, sin duda para repetir"

"Beautiful location with lovely pool area and outside areas, where we spent most of our time. Spoilt by a complete lack of cushions for the seats and sunloungers and no parasols. Nice outside kitchen but the raise and lower mechanism on the bbq was broken, which made cooking hard work, and only one of the two electric rings worked. Bedrooms fine. A/C fine. "Loved this hotel, right in the heart of the village. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Ate out but should have eaten at the restaurant in the hotel, did have their breakfast and it was delightful. Our room was comfortable and clean, absolutely no issues."

"This hotel was the best one we stayed at during our 2-week trip through Andalusia. First, when I parked in the Plaza de Toros across the street, the bellboy came to the car and greeted us. He took care of parking the car, which although it was two blocks away, I never saw it because when I left, the same bellboy brought the car back to the front of the hotel. It is located very close to the main street and the "New Bridge," with many nearby places to eat and have breakfast. This was the only hotel where we could control the temperature, using heating or air conditioning as we pleased. This is rare in a European hotel where in winter you only have heating, and if you're not used to it, you have a hard time. This hotel was a very good choice, and I highly recommend it."
