"Older building in the heart of Passau, making it very easy to explore the city on foot. Many eating establishments nearby, but be aware that many are closed on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. Note that there is NO elevator and the reception desk is on the “2nd” floor from street level. Our room with “private” bathroom was on the “3rd” floor. "From the front desk to the waitstaff in the restaurant, everyone was friendly and could communicate with us as we didn’t speak much German. The food was very good at the restaurant and the location was right in the middle of town. If you’re from the states and used to cold A/C you’ll have to let that go and enjoy the “light” A/C.
