The Honey Dew Log Lodge in Egg Harbor Door County Wisconsin

Experience the warmth of a Hand-hewn Door county Log Home. The silence beckons you. Long peaceful afternoons in the county. Deer grazing just outside your window, crickets chirping in the twilight. Eighty acres of woods to explore.

The main floor includes a king in the master with a full bath (including jetted tub). A queen off a half bath, a queen and two twins in the loft. The main floor also offers full laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, field-stone fireplace in the living room, and satellite TV. In the heated carpeted garage there is a pool table, a foosball table,air hockey, folding tables and chairs. The unit has hardwood floors on the main floor, and is carpeted in the loft. The house has a wrap-around deck with furniture.

The grounds include a fire pit with firewood, benches, picnic table, volleyball equipment , a charcoal grill and a gas grill. The driveway is paved with ample parking. The home is situated on a beautifully wooded landscaped parcel. It’s very peaceful.

Family Get Away in Door County 2024
Very spacious and accommodating. We liked the location that allowed for outdoor family activities. The kids used the swings and we used the fire pit. The property was clean and everyone had their own space to relax and enjoy the down times. The two kitchens really allowed for quiet time in the morning on the main floor. Thank You!

Honey Dew Lodge is a beautiful house and perfect for families with plenty of gathering space as well as multiple areas to spread out. Beautiful setting in the woods. As others have noted, a deep clean and some updates would improve the experience. Overall however we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kim!

The cabin is beautiful and clean. Plenty of room. Location was perfect...very peaceful and close to many things to do. We saw deer in the field next to the cabin. The host was very friendly. We definitely will be coming back.

Perfect multi family cabin.
Kim was very responsive and friendly to every request we made. Three families, three levels of space. This beautiful cabin surrouned by many acres of forrest was the perfect location for our entire family.

Enjoy the fall
The house is beautiful. Large and spacious, very close to activities easy access. However, the musty smell in the basement level was too much for us. We tried to air out on a daily basis. We needed to shut the door, and the smell would still come up. We were unable to have anyone sleep on that level. One person in our party became ill and needed to leave early because of this. We were also surprised that there was not some kind of welcome sheet that told how to turn on the heat or what was expected if anything that we should do. We have had that at other VRBO's. No contact with the property manager other than me asking where the keys will be.

Everything was fantastic here overall. We did have two issues with the temperature and then the jacuzzi not being usable, but other than that the place was fantastic and the owner was super responsive and sweet! We would stay here again in the future!

Beautiful cabin in the woods
We were looking for a large space to host 10 adults for a June vacation, and the cabin could not have been more perfect. Plenty of room indoors and out to accommodate five couples, with plenty of privacy. Many games of croquet were played on the spacious grounds and the wrap-around porches seemed to go on forever!

What a fantastic stay!
We stayed here for a family wedding being held in Door County. Wow, just an awesome home. There were so many rooms and places to spread out. My boys loved the heated garage and playing pool while also enjoying the 80 acres outside and playing catch. The adults enjoyed the firepit in the evenings and the sprawling kitchen and dining areas as well. Thank you for letting us enjoy this beautiful log home.

Beyond perfect!
This log cabin was beyond our expectations. It's very spacious and we didn't even get to enjoy it to its fullest with just a 3 day weekend!!!! A perfect location for a large family or families looking to travel together. (there is a kitchen on every floor). Very clean and updated with great Wisconsin charm. Easy driving distance to all the Sturgeon Bay area hotspots. We definitely recommend an evening at the Log Den just a mile down the road.

Magnificent Log Home
This magnificent home is an ideal location for family and friends to gather. It is surrounded by woods and fields, and has a large outdoor firepit. The log home, build by hand, has three levels providing plenty of comfortable and relaxing space with all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the decks and balconies for bird watching and star gazing. The kitchen is large, with plenty of cookware and serving dishes. The owners warmly made sure we had everything we needed. The Honey Dew Lodge is the most magnificent home (rental or otherwise) you will find anywhere in Wisconsin.

The cabin was beautiful! Lots of space for the whole family. Everything was very clean except for the garage/game room. Dirt seemed to be swept into the corners. We had great weather so didn't need to use it. The grill worked fine after we reattached several of the burning units. Loved the fire pit! Enjoyed watching the deer in the field across the driveway. PS: The windmill could use a little grease, very noisy when the wind blew-pretty though!
