Welcome to the Villa-a fantastic completely renovated waterfront cottage south of Egg Harbor. Your family will enjoy the privacy of 2 acres of Bay Shore woods with 165 ft of shoreline. The Villa is just minutes from multiple golf courses, shops and restaurants, Egg Harbor Town Beach and Frank Murphy park and boat launch.

You'll find it difficult to leave the cottage as the setting offers you captivating waterfront vistas of Green Bay, endless hours of beach activities and magnificent sunsets.

There's a screened in porch facing the water with a deck that has a dining table that seats 8. A limestone walkway leads you to a large 2nd deck on the shoreline where there are comfy Adirondack chairs. Two waterside fire pits, a large hammock, a new Weber grill and a terrific outdoor shower offer you a complete vacation getaway!

This 1900 square foot home was fully renovated in 2015. Step inside the cottage and walk into the great room with vaulted white washed ceilings, stained ash floors, a gas fireplace. large screen TV and huge sliding doors offering panoramic views of the water.

The open floor plan hosts a brand new well appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a black walnut island that seats 8 and measures 120" x 48" .

The master bedroom has a queen bed and its own bathroom. The other two bedrooms have a queen bed and 2 twin beds. They share a bathroom with two sinks and a tub/shower.

There is a separate laundry room with a new washer and dryer. You might also like to hang your clothes on our outside clothes line which face the water.

The cottage has its own private beach with yet another deck for swimming, sunbathing and sunsets.

The Villa will wash away stress and leave you with a new found love of Door County.

Wonderful fall weekend!
My husband, sister and brother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa. The view was spectacular because of all the windows and the living/kitchen area was perfectly designed, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The location was very private and quiet which made for an especially nice time. We look forward to another weekend at the Villa!

Charming home
This place was perfect for us. Great location outside of Egg Harbor. We loved looking out at the water and listening to the waves crashing into shore. Unfortunately we could spend just 3 nights here at this great home. Hoping next year we can return when the weather would allow us to enjoy the lovely outdoors.

Great girlfriends getaway!
Four girlfriends celebrating “big” birthdays traveled to Door County for some rest and relaxation! This was the perfect location for this! We enjoyed playing games on the screened in porch; dominos by the fireplace; painting rocks; wine on the deck by firepit... the memories are endless! We were tucked away from the hustle and bustle - but close enough to go enjoy restaurants, shopping, and wineries!

Sisters getaway
We (five sisters) spent two wonderful days and nights at Villa Royer. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had plenty of space for the five of us. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could have needed. The views of Lake Michigan from the living room and screen porch were amazing and the sunset over the lake on our first night was simply stunning. We woke the next morning to a full moon shining over the lake. Communication with Barbara was easy and quick. The location was perfect, quiet and private yet a short drive from shops and restaurants. We highly recommend Villa Royer and are already planning a return visit.

The perfect getaway
Barbara is a perfect host. The house is equipped very well! It has everything you could ask for and more. The kitchen is very nice with a large center table for family meals and top notch cabinets, dishes and cookware. You are in your own little world here....very private, very quiet and VERY PEACEFUL. This is exactly what we were looking for. Usually we are on the go all the time but we all decided to spend one whole day just bumming around Villa Royer and relaxing and boy did we ever. The deck is nice with a huge fire pit and everything in the home was flawless. We will be going back for sure.....we were very pleased!

Terrific Retreat
we have stayed at numerous homes thru VRBO in different parts of the country and Villa Royer was one of the most enjoyable. It felt comfortable the minute we walked in. The layout is great with a beautiful open concept great room/ dining room/ kitchen facing a wall of windows overlooking the lake. It is closer to the water than it appears in the photos and the views are gorgeous with sunsets that would be hard to beat anywhere in Door County. The living room is comfortable and the kitchen is fantastic and is equipped for any gourmet cook. The bedrooms and baths are comfortable and as two couples we were never bumping into each other. The deck is very nice but the screened in porch was fantastic! What a view and what a great place for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. A table would have been nice for cards or games but listening to the waves with those sunsets I really can't complain. I think it's a perfect retreat for two couples who enjoy golf, shopping, art galleries and fine dining either at local restaurants or at home. Thanks Barbara, it's everything you said it would be.

Charming but very disappointing
Our visit include me and my 3 kids aged 9-15. Overall we had a great time with all that Door County has to offer. American Folk Lore Theatre, Washington Island and horseback riding at Kurtz Corral were loads of fun; the state parks, maritime museums, lighthouses and shopping terrific. Great beaches nearby - favs included Egg Harbor and Murphy Beach (about halfway between the cottage and Egg Harbor - fun to jump off the pier). Don't bother with the Dunes, but do visit Cave Point. The cottage location was in the woods. During our stay I stepped out one morning and was face-to-face with a doe. We also saw wild turkeys, fawns, pheasants, rabbits and racoons. Charming cottage in the woods. However, it is important to know that the beach on site is NOT swimmable (huge disappointment as 5-10 minute drive to nearest beach vs. on site as advertized) and the cottage has NO air conditioning. The weather during our week rental was in the upper 80's and 90's. While we were generally out and about during the days and the temps fell off after sunset (so ok to sleep with a fan), being in the great room/kitchen to have lunch or dinner was BRUTAL. The windows have no shades to block the sun and the configuration of rooms/windows doesn't permit a cross breeze. We cut our stay short by 2.5 days as it was too unbearable to stay without A/C or the ability to be in the cottage and have relief from the heat.

Spectacular Sunsets in Superior Setting
This beautiful home enchanted us from the moment we arrived. The spacious rooms and screen porch offered many spots in which to relax and visit, that is if you could take your eyes off of the incredible lake view anand the surrounding property area.

Awesome place to stay on the water
We just returned from a long weekend trip to Door County Wi. We couldn't have found a better place for us to stay! This place is exactly as described, only better, there is no way to describe how peaceful it is to hear the waves softly running against the shore while looking at the stars on a moonless night. This place has it all, peace, quite, not too far from town, and it's fully equipped. We found the peninsula kind of crowded during the weekend, and to be honest, we found the food not to be near as good as we remembered, COVID has done a lot of damage, everywhere. This place had all we would have needed to prepare much better meals than most of what we got going out, and we wouldn't have had to leave this beautiful setting to boot. Barbara, the host was very easy to communicate with, the place is gorgeous, we just can't say enough good things about it. We feel very fortunate to have been able to share this wonderful place, should you decide to do the same, we don't believe you would ever be disappointed!

Beautiful location
The weekend we stayed the weather wasn’t great, but even so the property was beautiful. We still enjoyed the sound of the waves and the serenity of the property. We were lucky enough to catch a sunset followed by a storm rolling in. Would definitely go back!
