"Sehr schönes Ferienhaus im schönen Städtchen Grou. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist super und besonders hat uns der große Wohnraum mit offener Küche und großer Terrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser gefallen. Für Familien absolut empfehlenswert, für zwei Parteien sind die Schlafzimmer evtl. ein bisschen zu klein."

"Ein wirklich schönes Haus mit großem Grundstück, toll für Hunde, da es von der Hecke ganz eingeschlossen ist. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat nicht gefehlt. Wir würden vor den Fenster und Türen allerdings Mückenschutzgitter empfehlen."

"Accommodation was fine. Lovely little pub 5 min walk from property. Only problem was getting the key from reception as they said didn't seem to know we were arriving. They also couldn't find the key after speaking to the owner, eventually gave me the spare key but it was a bit stressful at the time. I must point that this was reception's fault and not the owner of the property."

"Smelled like somone was smoking inside just before we got there. Blankets had obvious stains on them. Double bed was 2 nylon covered mattresses pushed together. Made for a very uncomfortable night. "

"The owner of this property must use google translator as most of the messages he sent me made no sense. This then made it difficult to understand the check in process. Thank goodness the kind lady at the registration office clarified things for me. I understood that towels/tea towels would be included with the linens, but there was an extra fee for these items. Just a note for mobility challenged guests, the stairs are very steep and narrow."

"I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. Two bicycles are provided for use so I would hop on after dinner and explore the beautiful countryside. The property is spacious for two adults and very clean and comfortable. "5tägiger Herbsturlaub hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das alte Fischerhäuschen ist klein aber fein renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Es hat alles was ein Kurzurlaub braucht. Vorsicht, die Treppe zu den Schlafräumen ist sehr steil aber oben mit einem Kindersicherheitstor gesichert. Die Betten sind bequem aber als große Person muss man sich unter den Dachschrägen einfädeln, was jedoch zum Charme des Hauses gehört. Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen im Garten sitzen. Geht man vor die Tür steht man...

"Our stay here was one of the most incredible places we have ever stayed. A very unique conversion of an old church building, with full height ceilings and the bedroom on a mezzanine level in the loft. Every detail is top quality including the kitchen and bathroom. The living space is great for relaxing in front of the fireplace, and looks through the large doors onto the rear patio area with a large open field behind. "Our Holiday in grou was wonderful. The house was really well equipped and big enoug for all of our family + our dogs. The garden is surrounded by fences and hedges. That gives you a lot of privacy and you don`t have to worry about the dogs. The garden is big enough for playing tabletennis and badminton, which we did a lot :-) Moreover there is a little ferry 5 minutes away, which brings you to the city center for shopping or visiting restaurants or doing some waterspouts. We really recommend...

"Lovely location and clean property. Niggles were around the owner not responding to questions about what would already be there (there were filters for the coffee machine, now there are 2 boxes! There is a car charge point nearby but no idea if we could have accessed it). We also weren’t sure if we were allowed onto the jetty but presumed we were. But a nice quiet place to stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay in the very spacious house. The furnishings are very tasteful and cozy, the beds very comfortable. The communication with the very nice owners was excellent. We would have to come back in summer, the pool and the terrace look very attractive. For fans of large cooking sessions with more than 4 people, the cooking utensils may not be sufficient, but for us everything we needed was there."
