"Adaptive use of a historic brick mansion and office yields a top notch stay. The small hotel is excellent in design, presentation, accommodations, and unusually thoughtful design. Historic structure and interiors have been well improved and utilized without being overdone or faux. Staying in lots of small fine hotels, we are seldom so impressed."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that the walls are paper thin so you hear everything in the surrounding rooms. Also the AC made a weird noise that sounded like someone spraying a water hose on the window. The beds were very comfortable and we felt safe. I appreciate that they accommodated our request of a first floor room since we were 2 disabled women and a disabled child heading home from advocating for people with rare diseases in Washington DC. I would gladly stay at this property again. "

"Beautiful property to enjoy the outdoors. Loved the porch and sitting on the dock enjoying nature. Young adults loved playing pool and socializing with the beautiful river views . Very peaceful and relaxing. Town had some great food ."
