Per the Edisto Beach Police Dept, due to this home's location on Palmetto Blvd, golf cart(s) cannot be driven to or from this property.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Location was a plus, right on the beach with lots of parking space. Easy to access and had the number of baths and bedrooms we needed for our family. The staff was helpful and it was easy to check in and out.

Weekend Getaway
It was the perfect weekend. The house was just what we were hoping for and more. The location was great, the weather was great, and the sunrises were breathtaking. We will definitely be back to stay in this sweet house next year.

Weekend at the beach!
This was a lovely location, a somewhat dated home but very cozy and personable. Unbeatable views, the beach is literally at your door. I would definitely seek out this location again and refer it to others! Really nice experience.

The house was clean and well kept. Great spot for us right on beach with 4 young kids and 5 Adults. Close to food Lion and walkable to shops and pier.

The property was great and enjoyed being close to the beach. Only issue was the hot water heater leaked and needed to be fixed which took all day Sunday. Otherwise we had a great time…

Beautiful views and outstanding location. The property is very spacious and the outside porches are wonderful. A few minor things I’d suggest like more comfortable mattresses and adjusting the threshold at the front door so bugs can’t vacation with you. We had a sheet that was put on a bed that had a stain on it and the handle on the refrigerator was missing. Several blinds were broken also but these things are easily fixable and didn’t spoil our weekend. Beautiful weekend!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Atwood was easy to work with and we had a great week and did not experience any problems with the house. Being right on the beach was great! Kitchen had the bare minimum of what you need to cook (bring your blender). House definitely needs new blinds and furniture but we found everything to be adequate for our stay. Will definitely return to Edisto!

We had originally booked Corrigan. However, because it had sustained some damage from the nor’easter, Vacasa put us up in Sunrise, Sunset. This was a larger and more updated beach house. It had 2 more bedrooms a larger open floor plan, and a king sized bed with and ocean view. It was very nice. The only challenge was in the bathrooms… the toilets almost feel like afterthoughts and are in tiny cubby spaces. However, this did not pose any major inconvenience. Overall we were very pleased and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Lovely Views
We chose this home so that we could practice socially distancing on it’s large Oceanside deck. The house was comfortable and well provisioned. The location is ideal. The only negative was that there were several dead roaches, as if they had sprayed recently but had not sweep up after spraying. Coming from Florida, we understand the need to spray, and this was not a big issue with us. The house was otherwise nicer than depicted in the photos.

July beach week
Liked the house set up. Amount of beach depending on tide needs to be divulged in write up. We were lucky the tides were in our side time wise. Also, the big step down is impossible for older folks who had to walk down in order to get in beach. A boardwalk/steps would be great right there. Need new set of knives, glassware (not enough, random), new dining room chairs and new/more rockers on back porch. And I think all beach house lack blackout shades. Place was very clean. Like outdoor shower area.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bathtub drains were very slow draining. Bunk top and bottom needs repair. 1 TV broken, 1 loaned from Atwood. WOuld stay again, but would take Draino and TVs and not count on anyone sleeping on bunks as they are now.

Beach vacation
The house was great, shabby chic beachy, great location! A bit disappointed in the management company, cleanliness was not up to the usual standards, amenities such as paper towels, kleenex , or any kitchen cleaner was sparse or non existent. I realize everyone is cost conscious these days and short handed but small gestures go a long way in customer satisfaction. There was also no answer after normal business hours

Sand under your feet
What a fabulous long weekend! Inside the house or out on the porch, you’ll relax right away to the sound of the waves and the unrestricted view. We enjoyed rocking in the chairs on the beach and taking walks to enjoy the sunrise. We were lucky to see several dolphins playing very close to shore. The house layout of great for a group with two bedrooms on opposite sides of the living/dining separated by bathrooms. December was such a great time to visit. Weather was nice enough to enjoy exploring while also getting to enjoy the quiet of off season. Edisto has wonderful beach access. Make sure to check out the beaches on the calmer south end. Restaurants were very good too, particularly Waterfront Restaurant and E&O Tacos.

Sunrise, Sunset Dream
The location and layout of the house was perfect. House was as advertised. It rained the first day and a half while we were there, so the covered deck in back and screened in porch in front came in handy. We enjoyed walking up and down the beach, collecting shells and watching the dolphins play. While we were not traveling with our dogs this time, Vacasa was very accomodating when my brother came down from Charlotte with his two pups for the night. Overall great trip and would not hesitate to book again. Two things to note for travelers, the beach is dog friendly (which we loved) but not everyone followed the rules about keeping their dogs on a leash. We had several random dogs approach us to say hi. The road in and out of Edisto beach can get backed up with traffic, while Charleston is only 48 miles away it took more than an hour and a half to get there.

Wonderful stay
Can’t beat the location and the view. The house is aging, but it was cute and clean (with exception of being a little dusty, for those with allergies). The main thing to be careful about is for anyone who might be susceptible to falling. Going from the house to the beach is a very steep step down to the sand, wide enough for only one foot. My grandma stayed with us and fell there trying to get to the beach. She was ok, but it was concerning. For that reason alone, we probably won’t rent here again. But if it were just me, my husband and my son, we would consider it.

Great location, needs updating
We stayed in this home for a week. Great location on the beach with about 40 yds of beach during low tide and maybe 15 yards of beach at high tide. The home itself was built in 1970 and appears to be a rental only for quite some time now. Unfortunately it needs a lot updates and upgrades. The sinks and showers all backed up with water when in use. The kitchen sink had no garbage disposal and the fridge had no ice maker. The thermostat isn’t allowed to go below 72 degrees which in April with windows and doors open wasn’t bad. I couldn’t imagine staying there after April, too hot! Probably won’t repeat, but had a good time on the beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Almost excellent. Very clean. All necessary amentities. Great location. Atwood staff excellent in booking process. Only downside was a reverse osmosis water filter that did not work, and when reported to maintainance, there was no follow-up. Also, porch had only 2 rockers, and a picnic table. For a house that can bed 11 people and sleep a couple more on couches, there should be more chairs or rockers on the porch for a shaded expereice of the beach. Would come back for sure, but would hope the 2 issues above would be addressed

2nd visit to Sunrise, Sunset
i cannot say enough about this home! What we love the most, honestly is the location of the house. This house cannot be any closer to the ocean. It is situated away from any public beach access, so the entire oceanfront of the house is open to you and your guests. Great rental! We love it and will be back!
