Very central to all attractions and amenities, liked the themed room aspect. Bit noisy at the front later on with folk queuing for the night club but that didn’t prevent a good nights comfortable sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was exceptional—elegant, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully arranged with every detail in mind. The decor was both stylish and inviting, creating a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Beyond the aesthetics, the hotel also impressed me with its attentive service. Everything felt well thought out, ensuring a comfortable and seamless experience. Due to severe weather almost everything in Edinburgh was closed for the day and I had to spend the whole day and an extra night in the hotel. Even though there were very few staff due to the storm those who in made sure we had food and went out of their way to be accomodating and make residents feel secure.

The staff, especially Charlotte went out of their way to be accommodating by answering multiple questions, providing recommendations for dining, and helping with anything we needed. I highly recommend this lovely hotel!

The hotel room was lovely. I stayed on a Saturday night but due to the bar downstairs and the noise on the street continuing past 1am, as well as lots of noise from works early the following morning, it was very difficult to get any sleep. I did report this to reception but they said the noise transfers because the buildings were old.

Room was lovely and clean & in a very convenient part of Edinburgh- close to the station, restaurants and shopping as well as bus stops. We stayed in a very comfortable junior suite. My only complaint is that the room was a bit hot at night and we couldn’t open the window. Staff was very friendly. I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Beautiful themed rooms, friendly hotel staff, comfortable accommodations with robes. Excellent location- highly walkable. My only complaint is the proximity of a very popular nightclub- the noise was unbearable until 4 am.

Rooms were very nice and staff were friendly breakfast was very good. Noisy at night due to the night club below which goes on until about 3am then more noise from the street as people were leaving the club.
