Elegant 2 bedroom garden apartment in Stockbridge

An elegant apartment with its own front door in the heart of fashionable Stockbridge area of Edinburgh. Quiet and peaceful but only a 10 minute walk to the bustling city centre.
Sleeps 4 comfortably in 2 bedrooms, one a glamorous four poster king size bed with en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom either as 2 single or a king size bed with an en suite shower room. The sitting room, which overlooks a leafy patio garden, has a dining table, TV and antique fireplace. There is a separate loo which is convenient for guests. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer.
A minute away is the fabulous private Dean Gardens , a 7 acre park and woodlands, so pretty all year round. A key is provided on request. The Water of Leith walkway is across from the flat with a riverside walk all the way down to the Port of Leith or up to the Galleries of Modern Art.
Check in time is 3pm and check out is 10am but if I can be flexible with this I will certainly try especially with luggage drop off and collection. Please just ask.
There is pay parking on the street and free from 5.30pm-8.30am weekdays and on weekends or there is free parking about 10/15mins walk away on East Fettes Avenue.

Lovely apartment
The apartment was cozy, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and furnished with anything one could need. We spent our Christmas holidays there, and it felt just like home. The host was very kind and helpful.

Edinburgh Stay
This is our second time at this property for a girls' weekend in Edinburgh. Super place to stay. Spacious, comfortable, clean, cosy and in a beautiful, peaceful location, just perfect. Easy walking distance to the city centre or the local taxis were really good. Emma is a great host, very accommodating and helpful. We felt right at home.

Great stay in Edinburgh!
We loved this beautiful home in the Stockbridge area. It was tastefully decorated and had all of the amenities needed. Listing was accurate. It was easy to get to all of the Edinburgh attractions (castle, Royal Mile, etc.) and the area of Stockbridge was charming with good restaurants, cafes and a Sunday street market. Our host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage a bit longer while we went to church on Easter Sunday. Great stay and we would be back again!

Very nice place.
We were two couples, and 3 sets of keys were included, so one could always be left in the lockbox for convenience. Access to the private garden was a wonderful bonus. Nice, clean place in a good location about a mile from the top of the Royal Mile. Owner communicated clearly and in a friendly way online when I asked questions. Would stay there again.

Our Edinburgh Stay
Our lovely garden apartment was even more charming than the pictures-so cute, comfortable & welcoming!! It had the essentials we needed & more, such as lovely bath products, coffee, tea, milk & shortbreads-thoughtful touches. It was located in Stockbridge with many restaurants, coffeehouses & shops so we were away from the bustle of the Royal Mile but were able to walk to it which was excellent! We had key access to Dean Gardens which was a beautiful surprise as well. All in all, wonderful accommodations & surroundings so we look forward to returning-many thanks Emma!!!

First, Emma is a fantastic, very professional host. Timely response, helpful information, and personally kind. Thank You! Second, I really don’t know what superlatives to add to the previous reviews, so refer to the title! The neighborhood is one where you want to respect the local community. Sure we stuck out as ‘tourists’, but hopefully left a light footprint. We will definitely be back - Love Edinburgh!

Even better than expected
Everything about this place was perfect. The location, the elegant interior, the comfort, and the care of the host. I had an incredible stay with this as our home base for 5 wonderful days. It was very wet out most days, but such a cozy place to relax. The nearby area is adorable and has everything you need. The water of Leith is across the street and is very picturesque. Taxis were easily called and is about a £8 ride to the Royal Mile. A great quiet street. The hostess has thought of everything and really went all out to prepare the place for us. I can't thank her enough for the thoughtfulness she showed. Everything was planned for and thought of. If you are lucky enough to book this location you will not be disappointed. Best hostess and best flat ever!

Lovely stay in Edinburgh
A wonderful start to our family vacation. High quality linens, tea/coffee with milk and sugar provided, spacious flat with more than enough room for me, my spouse, and our teenager. Full of light and never felt like a lower level space. Walk along the river was a perfect jet lag cure. Stockbridge had all we needed and more. We would absolutely recommend!

We enjoyed the few days we stayed in Emma's flat in Stockbridge. Clean, quiet, beautiful neighborhood with access to the gorgeous Dean Gardens. About a mile walk to the Royal Mile but a close walk to the bus stop. Communication with Emma was excellent! We appreciated the bottled water and biscuits left for us in well-stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely Stockbridge apartment close to everything
From initial contact until leaving today Emma has been excellent to communicate with. Her property is lovely, clean, comfortable,warm and a short walk to Stockbridge eateries. Close to city centre and was a great place for our weekend ( murrayfield weekend) . Travelling with friends it was great having ensure bathroom's for both bedrooms. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone . X

Highly recommend!
This was such a perfect place to stay. Easy walk into the city but away from the hustle and bustle of the Fringe. There are lots of shops, pubs and restaurants right around the corner if you want to stay close by. And being so close to Dean Gardens is an added bonus. Emma gave us all the info we needed for check in and check out and also had a booklet inside with loads of recommendations. She is a superb host and we would definitely stay here again if we return.

Edinburgh Trip
We really enjoyed our stay in Emma's apartment. The sitting room was cosy and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and both bedrooms having en-suite bathrooms was a bonus. Comely Bank is a lovely area for shops, cafes and restaurants and central Edinburgh is only 10 mins away! I would be happy to recommend this apartment.
