This apartment won't disappoint.

The Space:
Please be mindful that we don't have a lift and we are on the top floor, but trust me the apartment and the views are worth it!

The Neighborhood:
Renowned for its red ashlar and white harled exteriors, Ramsay Garden (developed 1890-93) began life as Ramsay Lodge - built circa 1733. The apartment itself showcases fabulous views across the city and beyond.
The apartment is within a stone's throw of Edinburgh Castle Esplanade. This historical location is a well-established area with many excellent restaurants in the Old Town and Grassmarket. You are also moments away and at the bottom of the hill to Princes Street, George Street, and The New Town. Princess Street and George Street are the main shopping destinations of the city and can be seen from our sitting room window. You will not need to hire a car, with such a fabulous location as this!

We recommend either walk, taxi or downloading the Lothian busses app.

Sweet Place to Stay

This is a beautiful property. Penthouse apartment - lovely place. Views are spectacular. Close to shopping. Close to Edinburgh castle. For views alone, this is worth a stay. Nice beds, looks newly remodeled.

This property is very unique and exactly like the photos, one factor for booking it was the fireplace that didn’t work but I loved the flat.

Amazing views and location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this penthouse flat! The location was perfect, at the top of the Royal Mile just around the corner from Edinburgh Castle. The stairs were worth the amazing views and accommodations. This is a gem with carefully designed custom features and custom decor. I will be returning here in the future!

Authentic Scottish nest

This penthouse features phenomenal 180 degree plus views of Edinburgh, a lovely balcony, plenty of room and lovely, warm, light Scottish styling. Management is responsive and helpful. The central location allows you to walk virtually anywhere you might want to go in the city. We counted 81 steps, which we enjoyed but might be a challenge for some. The primary toilet is sluggish and the beautiful and functional kitchen could use a new paint job, but the property is otherwise is terrific shape for a very old building and extremely comfortable. We highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful aerie!

Not cheep, but a lovely property with amazing view fit for a special occasion

We spent a lot more than we usually would on accommodation, but we were celebrating one year since we got married in Edinburgh, and so this property with it's amazing view over Princess Street Gardens and New Town was worth stretching ourselves. Be warned that it is up a LOT of stairs, but the same can be said for most Edinburgh properties.
