Great Escape!
This was a wonderful property in a great location. I'd give it a 5 star rating except for the fact that we thought it was much closer (short walking distance) to the beach and that the WiFi service was very spotty at best. If you're looking for isolation and quiet, this is a fantastic getaway!

We did not know you need a car to get around.The WiFi did not work. You had No phone service.The house was not clean you had bugs and dust everywhere. You have to pay for the beaches that are around.I can say I will never stay there again. The worst part was I called the rental company and never heard a thing back

The home was what we were expecting a nice cottage feel with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Nice that they had fans for each room. 2 mins from East beach Our family had a great time.

Natural beauty
It was a perfect place for our family getaway. We only wish it could have been longer. The reason we gave 4 stars for check in is because we had to wait until the day we checked in to find lock box code via email- the reception for WiFi on the island for us was touch and go which caused us some stress concerning how we were going to get the information we needed. It all worked out but in the future I believe we will seek this information out a day in advance. The agency did respond quickly with a concern we had once we were there. They sent someone out to address it in a timely manner. Overall, we loved our first visit to the island and the house and property are charming! We would feel fortunate to rent this home for a longer period in the future.

Traditional Old Style Cottage
This house is charming. A lot of the homes on Chappaquiddick are brand new but this one is still an original cottage. Very private when sitting on the deck enjoying morning coffee. Close to the main road that takes you to the beach and to the ferry. I liked the flexibility of not having to rent a full week.
