"The stay was quite pleasant except for one evening. We had told the owners we were staying with family for a night but plans changed. When we got home we had no heat for the evening but it was too late to contact them. It would have been nice to have some control over the heat since one of the parties was older and handicapped. Other than that, the place was very clean - perfect for 2 people. "

"Wir hatten in Thannenkirch einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Das Häuschen ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und immer erreichbar. Unsere zwei Hunden waren sehr willkommen. "Our experience at Daniele and Pascal’s house in Thannenkirch was a 5-star experience. Daniele and Pascal were charming, generous, friendly, and helpful which, of course, helped make our stay a memorable one. The house itself is a gem and we didn’t lack for anything. It’s close to most areas of interest in the Grand-Est and the beauty of the region filled our hearts. We can’t say enough about our 3 weeks at La Randonnee – highly, highly recommend it. "The house is very beautifull and wel equiped, everything you might possibly need is there. The rooms are even more beautifull than the pictures show. Only the communication with the owner and the housekeeper was difficult. It was not clear for us how to check out and in. And we received a strange SMS message from the housekeeper that we had to pay 100 euro extra, which was not true..."

"Just a lovely gite inside Turckheim’s old walls, wonderful shower, nice kitchen, very quiet and comfortable, plenty of space for a couple with a few small kids. The only negative was limited parking right near the gite, but plenty of parking a 3-4 minute walk away just outside the old town wall. We’ll definitely be going back here!!"
