This was a perfect place for our family of five to stay for a long weekend. Everything was so clean and comfortable. The hosts were very easy to work with and quickly responded to our questions/needs. We couldn't have been happier!
Well kept and well managed. Just what I hoped for and I would recommend it, but that's with mixed feelings because I want it to be available next year (want it to remain my secret, oh well). Like most of rural VT no cell service, but wi-fi calling worked for me in this flat. Great coffee and sandwich place 1.3 mi north, outside seating.
Our stay lasted three nights and four days. The accommodations were great, lots of room, and very comfortable. The upstairs barn apartment was cozy, quiet (nobody was in the downstairs apt), and well-situated for our itinerary. We visited 6 waterfalls, 23 covered bridges, and 4 other points of interest. We would have seen some more, but it rained a good part of one day and we skipped a few.
If you see the rustic experience in Vermont. This is place to go. Amenities rival an upscale hotel suite. Nestled on a "back road" in Vermont it gives you access to a Sugar Maple farm, apple orchards, great scenery of mountains and the fall foliage as well as easy access to a major interstate takes you north or south in Vermont. The property owner is on site and willing to answer on site questions. I highly recommend this Vrbo!
We enjoyed our stay and visit with our hosts. Having lived in the area years ago, it brought back many memories.
Aaron and his family were very friendly and responsive to questions and needs.
We would happily stay there again.
The property is dated but clean; pretty much everything is there for a nice stay. Owner is on property, so if any issues, they are taken care of quickly.
This apartment was spotless and while dated, well furnished and stocked. It's in a barn, so some quirks are to be expected. No contact check-in was nice and the property was very quiet. GPS had a hard time finding it, but very clear directions were given by the host. My only complaint was the bed slat situation on the full sized bed. There aren't enough, but I did mention it to the host.
Our stay was perfect. Aaron met us upon our arrival at the property and showed us the entrance, which was otherwise not immediately obvious. The entry is a bit funky and offputting, but the apartment itself was perfect. It is quite spacious with two bedrooms as well as a "study" with a futon/couch.
The kitchen is well equipped and adjacent to the large dining area, which then leads to a nice living room with TV and another futon/couch. The country setting is very pleasant and location on Rt 14 convenient for exploring in any direction. All in all, we loved the apartment and had a great time there.
We were only going to be in the area for 2 nights and this location had everything we needed! Very clean, spacious and quiet. Communication with the owner was phenomenal as well!
