Welcome to Island Mountain Lodge, a beautifully crafted 3,000 sq. ft. home on five private acres, designed for family gatherings, multi-generational stays, and friends' getaways. With breathtaking views, luxury amenities, and plenty of space, this home is perfect for creating unforgettable memories.

✔ Main House (Sleeps 6) – King master suite (gas fireplace, walk-in closet, spa-inspired ensuite) + two queen guest bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom.
✔ The Bunkhouse (Sleeps up to 4) – Separate 500 sq. ft. space with a queen bed, twin trundle beds, Smart TV, and private bath (available for larger groups).

Please note: The bunkhouse is available at no additional cost for groups of more than six guests. For smaller groups wishing to rent the bunkhouse, there is an additional charge of $80 per night.

We recommend bringing your own car or renting one once you arrive off of the ferry. Orcas Island has many State Parks with trails and lakes that are best accessed by driving.

Great place for family gathering
This home was very comfortable for a family of four plus grandparents. The pool table was a hit with the kids and we all enjoyed the hot tub then coming inside near a cozy wood fire.

Amazing Home on Orcas Island
Absolutely beautiful home on Orcas Island. Perfect for a family of 4 and beyond (if use bunkhouse). We would definitely stay here again. Views were incredible.

Perfect Family or Friend Retreat
This beautiful property sits atop a perfect overlook of the island. You could easily just stay here and never go exploring but the location makes running into town a quick jaunt. We will definitely return!

We had a mini family reunion at this property and it was LOVELY. The house is spacious and did not feel at all crowded for our 8 people Age 5-80. Beautiful views, great layout, wonderful location, super quiet and just plain gorgeous.

Fun, relaxing escape with an amazing view!
My family and I had the BEST time at Islandview Haus on Orcas! We all enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, sauna and close proximity to Eastsound. I especially enjoyed the breath-taking view from the porch. We hope to stay here again in the very near future!

Absolutely fabulous !
It was just as wonderful as the pictures showed it to be. The views from the deck are so beautiful and relaxing that it’s hard to make yourself leave the house to go explore the island.

Beautiful, comfortable home with incredible views
We had a group of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) stay and we had a lovely time. The house was big enough for us to spread out with the addition of the guest house (for an extra fee). The property/grounds are gorgeous and the views are incredible! We loved utilizing the hot tub and just taking in the view and surroundings. The location itself is very private but it's also just a quick drive to town. Sherri and Melanie were great hosts and easy/quick/friendly to communicate with. Overall we loved this property, would stay here again and would highly recommend.

Everything in one stunning package
Not only did the property provide an exceptional views, but it had everything we could have ever needed and more. The owner anticipated all of our needs! the property offered so much exploration opportunities for the kids with us that we almost had no reason to leave. The additional space above the garage served as a wonderful hangout space for them .... and they LOVED the teepee. We will be back again.

Jaw Dropping Sunsets, Great House for an Amazing Two-Family Vacation
We loved our stay at this home on Orcas - if anything, these photos don't do justice to how breathtaking the panoramic views/sunsets are, and how well appointed and spacious this home is! Our group (two families consisting of four adults and five kids from infant to age 8) loved the floor to ceiling stunning views in the main house and master bedroom, spacious kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms upstairs with a nice modern bathroom, and the bunkhouse, which is perfect for families with lots of kids - safe/close-by to the main house but still a fun separate space for them. The hot tub and grill are great, and the grounds are expansive, with a short walk up to the tepee and koi pond, and beautiful fruit trees and foliage. Just a short drive into Eastsound town, with very easy access to Moran State Park as well. Can't wait to return!

Nearly perfect
We've stayed in a lot of rental homes and this was top 5, easily! The photos do not do it justice. House was a great layout for two families... you could easily spend your entire day reading on the gorgeous deck, wandering the property, playing pool, or soaking in the hot tub. If you can tear yourself away, though, there is easy access to Eastsound (restaurants, grocery, excellent ice cream and bakery) and Moran State Park (hiking, kayaking, swimming). We'll definitely be back. (Pro tip: if you come in August, bring some disposable yellow jacket traps for the deck... those suckers are nasty!)

Breathtaking view
Coming up from Seattle, it’s a lot of fun to have a sunny day ferry ride through the beautiful San Juan Islands. From the Orcas terminal, it was an easy 20' drive over rolling hills and through the picturesque village of East sound (great shops and restaurants, and beautiful views of the bay). Up a steep climb and we were upon a wonderful house providing breathtaking views of the Orcas bay and beyond to Vancouver Island… can we ask for more. The house is gorgeous, well appointed, spacious and definitely comfortable! We had a great week BBQing on the view deck, relaxing in the hot-tub, sipping some wine, and getting some real peaceful sleep-in times (even the kids). The kids also loved the loft - the Wii(!) and the fun of getting away from the parents. We made some fun day trips too, kayaking at Cascade lake and taking the trails around the peak of Mt Constitutions (check out those views!). It was a super relaxing week, and… so hard to leave.

Amazingly beautiful property!
This was the perfect place for our family to spend time combining east and west coast cousins for quality time together and to meet the newest (10 weeks old) member of our family. The view is so unbelievably gorgeous that upon arrival we cancelled some inside dinner reservations in favor of sitting at the long table on the deck overlooking the beautiful San Juan Islands. We were mesmerized by the changes in light and color as the sun set. The owners have truly thought of everything and are incredibly generous with their special home full of art and beauty. Everything anyone could need was provided. The beds were comfortable, the linens were high quality, and the spaces were well thought-out. We especially appreciated the baby books and Pack and Play crib. The hot tub on the deck was a nice touch, the swing overlooking the garden was restful, the koi pond was lovely, and the teepee was fun to check out; we feel we had only just begun to explore all this home had to offer before we had to leave after 4 nights. The long tables and large open spaces were perfect for reconnecting with our family. We created memories in this magical place that will last a lifetime. I have stayed at many rental homes in very nice places and this home ranks at the top for all it offers.

Exceptional home with an extraordinary view
This was the perfect location for our stay on Orcas Island! The home itself was beautiful, spacious, and a constant source of delight. High ceilings, lovely furnishings, a cozy fireplace, and multi-story windows showcasing the incredible view over the forest and water.

Orcas island retreat
Lovely home for a family getaway. Lot’s of games for the kids and terrific views from the porch and living area. The pool table kept us quite busy too. Easy drive to Moran State Park for kayaking and hiking. All around a terrific spot. If the opportunity arises, we’ll come back.

Stunning views
Our multigenerational family loved this property! Stunning views, lots of custom details, comfortable furniture, plenty of space for 9 people to eat together, play games together, lounge separately, etc. The kitchen had everything you could need. A convenient distance to Eastsound village and Moran State Park. We had several children in our group and made use of the board games and kids books provided, and the adults made use of the grill, hot tub, sauna and pool table. Note that the pond in the photos was not in good shape/easily accessible and the teepee was dismantled, but that was a plus for us given that we did not want our children playing around water at the home. In any case, I highly recommend this property.
