Bramble Seaview Cottage - Lower Studio Suite With Sparkly Water View

This Lower Studio Suite (New -2020) at Bramble Seaview Cottage which is nestled hillside in Eastsound village. It is the perfect location affording a peaceful stay while still being within walking distance of all Eastsound village amenities! The village hosts a waterfront park, quaint shops, fantastic dining options, local bookstore, farmers market and many recreational opportunities from bicycle rentals to whale watching excursions. You will never be at a loss for things to do.

We are conducting additional cleaning and Sanitizing between each guests stay.

The gem of the San Juan Islands, Orcas Island awaits you! From beach combing, hiking, deep sea and fresh water fishing, Sailing, Kayaking, Whale Watching and more. Rest assured that this will be a trip of a lifetime!

The Lower Studio Suite is well appointed with modern accents and comfort in mind.

The Lower Studio Suite is a cozy and intimate space while still affording all the comforts of home. There is a Queen Bed with a Pillowtop mattress and a Twin Day Bed which is located in the TV Nook Area where you can read, watch a movie, take a nap or provide an additional sleeping space if needed. There are two new Lazy-boy Swivel Rocking chairs to enjoy. We provide upscale bedding and additional cozy blankets to make your stay particularly enjoyable. The Lower Studio Suite has Heat/AC, Smart TV/Direct TV, WIFI, Books and an assortment of games.

The Kitchenette is fully outfitted. There is an island which can be used for food prep as well as seating for two indoors. You can take your meals outside on to the Patio which has additional seating and overlooks the newly installed terraced gardens and a water view of Fishing Bay! There are basic cooking supplies which you are welcome to use.

There is 1 Full Bathroom with Walk-In Shower. We provide high quality plush towels, artisan soap and bath salts. There is a (shared) Full-Size Washer/Dryer which is located at the top of the Stairwell.

The cottage has a Southerly facing Patio with an Ocean View where you can enjoy the lovely view and abundant wildlife. There is a patio set for outdoor dining and a Propane BBQ for your cooking pleasure.

The newly installed Gardens are breathtaking and we have strategically created multiple relaxation spaces for our guests to enjoy. In the evening enjoy the Fire-Pit at the bottom of the property and we simply ask that you make sure the Fire is extinguished fully after each use.

Beautiful Cottage
The cottage is just as pictured in the listings. It is so perfect with everything that your could need and more. Lots of extra little touches. It was very well planned and really nice. The view is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our lower level studio room is ideal for a couple. The decor is lovely, the linens are great, and it is just darn comfortable. The coffee is greatly appreciated, as were two chocolates. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

Well appointed getaway
This was just the right size for our 2 night getaway. Very clean. It's well suited for 2 people and you have the space to cook if you desire. The outdoor space is lovely. Very close to town. Walkable if you're game for the uphill walk home.

A cozy spot right near town
This is such a lovely find near Eastsound. It has all the things you need and the communication was excellent. Nicole was also incredibly generous when the ferries were cancelled and she let us stay longer when we were suddenly without a spot to land. This is my second time here, and I would definitely come again.

Water view cottage on Orcas
We had a great time staying at this cottage on Orcas visiting family. Nice place with a good view and some outdoor space. Super close to downtown and you can even rent the upstairs house if you have a larger group. We arrived at night and the main road quickly turns to a dirt road with a few steeper parts but it was much easier to navigate during daytime. Not really an easy walk to downtown but still an awesome location. We would certainly stay there again!

Overall beautiful and very clean accommodates. Perfect for 2 people. Gardens are immaculate. Located on steep hill, arrive before dark to get your bearings. Host provided surprise welcome gifts of coffee, chocolate and wine! Close to town but unfortunately in off-season most places were closed. I would stay here again.

Quaint, perfect spot on the island for a weekend!
Absolutely loved this property! Spent a long weekend on Orcas Island for a wedding. Of any rental I've ever stayed in, I greatly appreciated all of the additional amenities, kitchen items, toiletries, etc. that the host included. The only few things I would recommend adding are a full length mirror and a pair of scissors, but that's being really picky :) Otherwise, the space for 2 people was perfect, bed was comfortable, and the view/scenery was just lovely, and it's a great location in town.

Small place near Eastsound
This is a lovely property with a very thoughtful host. We really enjoyed our stay and benefitted from many extras, including fresh local eggs upon our arrival. I would rate this property with five stars except that it is a bit pricey for the amount of space. A 10% lower nightly rate would make more sense. However, it is a cozy, well-maintained property and we appreciated our thoughtful and responsive host.

What a wonderful, romantic spot! The unit is cute as can be with no detail overlooked! Towels are fluffy, bed is so wonderfully comfortable, kitchen is stocked with all tools needed for meal prep. Strong wifi…good enough to support my husband’s attendance at an online virtual conference for a few hours daily (from comfy swivel armchairs, while looking over the beautiful landscaping, towards the water). Yes, the road in and out of the little neighborhood is somewhat steep but while walking it a number of times, we were surprised that the returns up are not as hard as we’d expected. This rental is now #1 on the list for future Orcas visits!

Perfect Getaway!
Bramble Seaview Cottage is an absolute gem. We spent 5 nights in the cottage and had a much needed, very relaxing getaway. We were constantly impressed with the attention to detail. It is amazingly well appointed for a small space, truly impressive space planning and clearly stocked by someone who cooks. We ate in for most of our stay and made full use of both the kitchen and the grill. We loved the gorgeous gardens and views, with the terraced seating and dining options, perfect for lazy reading, sunbathing and meals, and enjoyed more than one fire in the fire pit. Our one attempt to watch TV (Sounders game) failed due to the channel not being available...and that was a good thing. Haven't turned on a TV since and hope not to for a bit. We were initially mildly concerned about storage space but then realized the bath contained very deep cupboards with lots of room for clothing so we able to fully unpack. Check in could not have been easier. The cottage is a short walk from much of Eastsound and we walked there frequently, as well as a short drive to really any place on the island and the perfect place to come back to after long hikes. Hiking which is plentiful all over the island, was not surprisingly not crowded and made for some amazing peaceful days. Those that were out were generally good about masks and distancing. Very pleased to see great mask compliance, sanitizer and hand washing stations all over the island and enjoyed some great meals and drinks (Skillet, Mijitas, Island Hopppin Brewery, Orcas Hotel Cafe, Cascade Bay Grill, Boathouse Ciderworks) with comfortable and safe outside seating or takeout. We may have hit Orcas Island Pottery more than once! Overall, not a lot we'd have done differently pre-covid and that truly was a gift. We hope to be back and rent the upper as well hopefully next summer, bringing more family next time. Thank you for sharing your home with us, it was wonderful!
