"Property was well kept and quaint. Host was amazing, and so were his culinary skills! The breakfast was scrumptious. The bed was a little too soft for our liking, but the room was spacious, quiet and had a great view. Will stay here again."

"This hotel is awesome! It is so cool looking it’s been redone recently and has really cool mid-century modern type decor. The staff is excellent and really caring. They have a nice breakfast and even make you cocktails in the lobby in the evening. If you want one they have a nice fireplace sitting area. They kept parts of the old original hotel to make it really cool they have a rooftop, which looks out over many directions. It is super easy to walk to town. The parking is great. They have a pool and a hot tub. "

"The hobbit house is an adorable piece of Charlevoix history with incredible views of Lake Michigan and the gorgeous sunsets on the water. Home is equiped with everything you need to enjoy a perfect stay in this beautiful town. Highly recommend the house and also recommend you enjoy the Mushroom House Tour to learn more about it. Hosts were helpful communicative!! Would love to return. "

"Nicely remolded for the most part. Manager was incredibly energetic, congenial, eager to please, very responsive to fixing heat supply and readily available through the entire stay. (don't lose her)! Very comfortable for the age of the building. Good value for the price. Good location in town."
