"The location was good and the kitchen was well stocked in as far as dishes, cutlery, towels,laundry detergent etc The place needs a good cleaning! The chair in the living room needs to be cleaned as it had a bad odor. The downstairs bathroom especially. Lots of missing light bulbs making the place dark. Doors didn’t close properly in the upstairs bathroom and in the bedroom downstairs. The front inside door also didn’t close properly. The downstairs mattresses were terrible and after the second...

"I will say that the property setting was amazing, with picturesque views, especially with large windows, you could see the beauty of winter.The check in process was seamless and communication with host was amazing and timely. We were just a bit disappointed that the fireplace was not functional and there were no ping pong table available which were 2 things we were looking forward to. Other than that, we had an amazing time with the family."

"Property was under construction, but this did not hamper our stay. Was clean and location was ideal. Would love to visit again once construction is complete. We loved the patio and spent most of our time outside."

"My husband and I traveled from Victoria to meet up with relatives from the U.K to explore Atlantic Canada. We found Paulette and her accommodations a great place to start our adventures. Centrally located we were able to walk to many local attractions, including Halifax Harbour. Place worked out great for the five of us and definitely would stay again. "We had a wonderful weekend stay. The home is spacious and very well laid out. Our group loved to gather in the kitchen and main livingroom area and had a movie night on our second night in the basement, really great set up for a bigger group! Hot tub is a lovely bonus, we didn't have the chance to walk down to the lake but we enjoyed the view from the deck and dinning room.
