"We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the batch. It was clean and location was great. What would have made it 5 star would have been if the grass was cut and tidied with removal or replacement of the hexagonal table and the blue sofa has stains which is unpleasant to see.But overall we had a lovely stay"

"When we arrived the key was not in the lock box, but this was quickly rectified and the property manager came within 10 mins after a phone call, so this was not a huge problem… we are all only human!. It was not clear to me how much cleaning we were meant to do at the end. I was pretty sure I had paid to not have to vacuum etc but this was not clear in the email or at the bach itself. I called the property manager to find out. She said we had a late departure due to the key incident, however...

"Would not recommend staying here. Building work starts at 6.30am each day. House is freezing and only heat pump is so noisy it gives you a headache. Beds v uncomfy. And mice ate our food in the night. Obviously a big issue as traps everywhere… spoilt what could have been a lovely location."

"Our four night stay was lovely. The house is located in a beautiful valley with mountains to each side. Cows and sheep graze in the fields around the house. Thoroughly bucolic. The kitchen supplied everything needed. Our bed was comfortable. A bouquet of freshly picked flowers greeted us upon arrival. The town of Tākaka is a short, scenic drive away, with a supermarket and restaurant options. Lovely beaches are nearby and most important to us, access to Abel Tasman Park. We very much look...

"Stayed here with my parents and 2 month old baby - it was glorious! So tranquil. A really special place. Easy walk to the beach and nearby eateries. Backing onto the mountains, so super quiet. Host was so nice and accommodating. Cooked us all lovely pizzas in the outdoor oven (be sure to give him a days warning, though!) Free yoga and massages. And lots of beautiful sights within easy driving distance. Complete bliss. And super good value for money. Please book here! You won’t regret it!!"
