"I loved the look of it in the photos, and when I first arrived, I was even more charmed by what I encountered in person. However, once I started needing to use the facilities, especially the kitchen, I realized that they were in dire need of renovation/swapping out. The cottage can easily retain the vintage/rustic feel and be a much more pleasant nook with a new kitchen and bathroom. "We had a fine stay at this listing in Kirkville, but overall the details were lacking. Lots of spiders throughout the home, amenities were not all properly functioning (dryer kept turning off, and the toaster was defective), and there weren’t any extra trash bags that we could find. "

"Exceptionally clean, comfortable and roomy place to stay. Husband loved being able to fish in the marina, right outside the door, and the convenience store around the corner offered live bait to keep him supplied. Very close by, good sized, grocery store let us grab several things to throw on the grill and relax by the water. Owner has gone above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable and we appreciate her very much. A great place to stay! Highly recommend! "
