Perfect cozy cabin w/ tree house on 3 acres of woods near skiing, hiking & DWG

Perfect Log Cabin family-friendly hidden away on 3.5 acres in the woods. This cabin is perfect for all seasons and is close to all that the Poconos and Delaware Water Gap has to offer.

The main area of the house (living & dining rooms) has 50ft vaulted ceiling and a beautiful stone fireplace that will keep you warm all winter. The first floor includes the living & dining area, the kitchen, master bedroom (Queen bed and TV), 2 bathrooms, laundry, and a back room. The second floor includes a separate loft and bedroom. The loft is a great play-area and has a pull-out sofa. The 2nd-floor bedroom is large (also with high ceilings) and includes 3 twin beds and a TV. The back room looks out to all that Mother Nature has to offer (back room includes 2 pullout couches -1 Queen and 1 twin & television). The cabin includes 2 bathrooms with showers. Home includes 4 Smart televisions with cable and Apple TV firestick (please use your own Netflix and other subscription log-in information).

The front porch of the Cabin includes a hammock for a quick nap and a picnic table for dinner.

The Cabin is set on over 3 acres of property with a stream running behind the property. There is an outdoor shower and firepit with chairs to sit around the fire. Bug zapper available if needed to keep away extra bugs. The home is a quick walk away from a hiking trail that ends in a beautiful waterfall.

The property also includes a fun treehouse with electricity, heat, bunk beds, and a television (Smart TV). Treehouse includes a fun porch to sit and take in nature.

The home is located within a 20-30 minute drive from Shawnee and Camelback Ski Resorts for skiing and tubing. Close to Bushkill Falls, Delaware Water Gap, and East Stroudsburg University.

Pets are permitted with fee.

Perfect anniversary getaway
We had a truly amazing stay at Sheilagh’s cozy cabin! She went above and beyond to make our anniversary getaway special, from the beautiful string lights to the thoughtful touches she added to the space for us. The cabin itself was perfect and just what we needed for a relaxing escape. Sheilagh’s communication was excellent, and she was always responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to return, hopefully with our kids next time, to enjoy this wonderful retreat again. Highly recommend!

Perfect for couples or families.
Above all else, the hosts made us feel right at home. Virtually every amenity was accessible to us: firewood, kindling, pantry staples, toiletries, anything you could think of. We felt incredibly safe and check-in/check out was super simple. I can’t overstate just how perfect this cabin was, especially for the price. We will definitely be staying here again.

Mid October was the perfect time for a long weekend in the woods. This cozy cabin was quiet and peaceful, and just a short drive to the Delaware Water Gap and Bushkill Falls.

Great cabin for spending time with family and enjoying nature. Big fire pit to gather around for s’mores and scary stories. Spotted bear every day and I filmed a family of deer one morning just a few feet away. You’ll have fun.

My wife and I had a great time visiting this property. The house had everything you want. A fully stocked kitchen, plenty of firewood for both inside and out and plenty of games and puzzles to keep you entertained on a rainy day. Communication with the owners was above and beyond. Thank you Sheilagh for sharing your cabin with us!! Comment: Amazed by the cleanliness of the home! We had definitely expected cobb webs, critters, etc. Cabin was pristine! An absolutely excellent and peaceful stay. Sheilagh was very responsive both pre and during stay. Home was well stocked (even toiletries, coffee, wood, etc). Enjoyed the fireplace tremendously and left a fire good to go for the next guest. Our favorite - the sunroom! Watched football on Sunday in our peaceful surroundings. Loved the outside lights. Would like to book a last minute stay when a snow storm is coming to enjoy from the room. Bed was very comfortable, windows in good working order. Great dinner at Butter. Wanted to do Chef’s tasting menu at Memorytown but called too late for reservations. A fabulous time - highly recommend.
