"I cannot express how absolutely gorgeous the property is! My three young adult kids actually gasped when we turned into the driveway and saw the view. Very comfortable home, clean and accommodating and Phil was a great host! The area is quiet and remote but close enough to sites like Peggy's Cover for a day trip. Highly recommend this property!! The only thing we had some confusion over was the laundry situation. Listing states a washer and dryer so we just assumed we could do our own load...

"Oh, wow! Kinda felt like we were in a Vrbo ad… The house is a beautifully renovated old home just across from the water, and a couple hundred yards from the beach. Beds were luxurious, bookcases of interesting books. The neighbourhood is of older, well looked after houses on a quiet cul de sac on the ocean. Couldn’t be better."

"The Mahone Bay Beach House was the perfect place to start our vacation in Nova Scotia. It is an easy drive from Halifax Airport and immediately welcomed us in to relax on the deck, inhale the fresh coastal air and take in the sounds of the birds and boats in the harbour. The house is just as advertised with all the amenities available and a nice cheery decor. The master bedroom has a terrific view over the water. "We enjoyed our stay close to local beaches, kayak/paddle board rentals and in between Halifax and Mahone Bay. The owner was very attentive and thoughtful of our needs. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the owner brought family videos and yummy coffee for us. "This place was incredible. Lovely decor, unbelievable views from almost every window, and right on the water! It's close to great swimming beaches, and we enjoyed checking out "The Ovens", Rose Bay General Store, and Hirtles Beach! Some wonderful meals in Lunenberg (the Beach Pea was awesome!) and Mahone Bay (Oh my Cod!). An amazing family vacation with lots to see and do in the area."

"We had a wonderful time in this beautiful little cottage. Easy walking distance to quaint village. Very nicely decorated and everything was spotlessly clean. So quiet and peaceful. Washing machine and dryer are a bonus, especially if you’re on a longer trip as we were. Pam gave us some great tips. We would love to stay here again."
