"We cannot say enough about how adorable this place is. Probably the nicest grounds of any VRBO we’ve stayed at. Beautiful views, lots of places to explore and there were ducks and chickens! The cottage itself was well constructed, clean, and had everything we needed. We got the chance to meet Matt (and Wini), who were delightful. My only suggestion for renters is to be comfortable using the narrow spiral stairs. They were very safe but not everyone would be able to navigate them. If in the area, I would highly recommend!!"

"We enjoyed the nice covered porch, being able to enjoy the outdoors with a nice breeze and a couple views of deer in the fields. The outdoor picnic table by the fire ring was nice for grilling and making s’mores. Inside, the air conditioning was a nice retreat from the 90* heat during the day. We went swimming at Dorchester park but it was cut short due to thunderstorms in the area. I’m already looking forward to coming back again soon. Thanks for sharing this cottage with us."

"This home on Lake DeRuyter was perfect for our extended family vacation. The house was equipped with all our needs. The owner was responsive with questions. The dock was perfect for fishing and swimming was great as weeds were well controlled. The property is dog friendly as well, which made this vacation even better. Will definitely stay again!"
