"We all enjoyed our stay in this very well located house. There was some confusion regarding wifi and this could have been made clearer to us on the original listing. It would also have helped our check in if we had been told the name of the street where the on site car park was located (house was on a corner and we had a little trouble locating the car entry point). Otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay and there was plenty to enjoy locally. "

The cleanliness could have been a bit more thorough and the spa didn’t work for the majority of our stay (though it was super super hot so we didn’t need it on). All in all a fantastic house, stay and good communication. We will be back for sure."

"I’ve stayed here twice and have now booked a third trip. The house is perfect for large friend and family gatherings. Our 11 kids spent most of the 4 days in the pool and spa, and the pizza oven got a workout. The attention to detail makes all the difference, for example heating the pool, great kitchenware (actual sharp knives!) plenty of towels, both firm and soft pillows, and the list goes on.Would recommend. "Wonderful location. Wonderful home. Even the wild weather was spectacular. Unexpected issues: 1. The dishwasher and microwave had not been cleaned for a long time and we had to do this. This should be done after every renter. 2. Insufficient bin liners. 3. A vase of dead flowers was on the table when we arrived. 4. There was insufficient toilet paper for our stay. 5. The TV in the lower lounge area should be set up with free to air channels."

"We chose this accommodation because of the glowing reviews from previous guests and we certainly were not disappointed. Our booking and check-in were seamless. Adam and Nat were responsive and most accommodating of our requests.The home and gardens were just beautiful! I felt like I had stepped back into a bygone era, yet we still had all the modern cons including 2 newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen.The range free eggs, wine and chocolates were a very personal touch which were appreciated....

"The Protestant Hall was our mini honey moon before our actual honey moon. It was a gorgeous, romantic, quiet getaway. Such a picturesque property. All the amenities were awesome. Fire place was awesome. Highly recommend!"

"We were a little shocked that the property was a lot more run down than what the photos showed on the internet. Apart from that the location of the property was amazing and ticked all our boxes. The only thing that would have made the stay easier would be if the bathrooms had body wash, shampoo and conditioner. "
